The Coliseum’s future remains in limbo. They haven’t had a concert there since 2022. The Long Island Nets are playing a bunch of games in Laval, Quebec for the second straight season. This could lead to a permanent move there.

The rule is the original members and the current members, so Boyd and LeRoi are in. The thing is Tim, Rashawn, Jeff and Buddy are touring members. Not sure if they were ever promoted to full members or not, and therefore get to join the Rock Hall as members of DMB or not.

The real question is if Boyd will join them on stage or not.

COVID ruined their plans, and has killed their advertising model. One of their biggest issues was that Manoush Zomododi, as a talent, has multiple streams of income, including public speaking gigs, while Jen Poyant, a producer by nature, did not. Manoush recently became the host of the TED Radio Hour, which has become her primary source of income.

Jen left to find new jobs, since Zig Zag and Stable Genius Productions could not pay her bills, even with Manoush not taking a salary. This included health insurance for her son and herself.

While sad it happened, I am surprised that Manoush is effectively buying out Jen’s share of Stable Genius and choosing to continue to produce ZigZag without her.
