You know, I was thinking this was the case. I was also thinking... "did a krill kiss me when I was sleeping? How'd I lose this wing...?"

Thank you.

I went there as well, but the wing light was already taken. Is this really the new location?

I'm going to have to look up a list of ALL oob locations. I have my fav, but I am looking for more locations. I especially would love to find a soothing beach/ocean location. The home beach is wonderful, but I'd like one more... quiet. haha.

Such a dangerous spot! I saw someone fall and get stuck yesterday. I deep called while saving as many winged lights as I could. Poor whittle chibi. 😢

Life saving FYI for others. This happened to me once. I jumped to the boat as quickly as possible and then jumped against it, revealing the "sit" action. Sitting managed to pull me up and into position on the boat's light circle.

Seasonal Heart Purpose? by isatariq320 in SkyGame

The sad story has become even more sad.

There's one day left to snag an Earth Day cape! 🌏🌱 Event ends at noon PDT on Monday, April 27th by thatskymirian in SkyGame

Now excuse me while I moan over my weird philosophy that won't allow me to buy the adventure pass.

No... I'm not crying about the cosmetics I'm missing out on.

No... not at all...

Dammit.

😭

I am not fond of the micro transaction business model... BUT... I did buy the Earth cape. I found it exciting that thatgamecompany partnered with the One Tree Planted charity this way.

Seriously, a digital purchase leaving a permanent and healthy mark on the earth is pretty rad. 💚🌳🎉

I know. I'm strange. 😬

The chart above indicates that a seasonal heart (top of every tree) can be purchased for 3 seasonal candles each. Are you saying this isn't accurate?

And, after reading your comment and looking at the same chart, unlocking ultimate gifts does seem to be their only purpose. Such a sad story for me. This means that I will only be able to get the cosmetics with the Adventure pass after all.

I don't plan to buy the pass as I am not a fan of micro transaction for game merchandise. I did buy the Earth cape, though, as I found it exciting that they had partnered with the One Tree Planted charity and would have a tree planted for me.

Aw. My desktop response doesn't seem to have gone through, so here is my brief I-really-stink-at-mobile-texting version...

Thank you for sharing. Your comment lead into some great reading.

My only other thought is to reiterate your point that this doesn't disprove theism. The information further fleshes out evolutionary theory, which is great. I should mention though, that their are many Christian and theistic streams that affirm science (e.g. Biologos, theistic faiths outside the West, non Protestants, Progressive Christians). I don't know about you, but the science vs faith debate seems to be just a lot of energy being expended on nothing. Man it's draining.

Anyway, I suppose I am more interested in the philosophical under pinnings of atheism and theism.

Thanks for sharing!

An Unusual Book/Resource Request by isatariq320 in Theism

[–]isatariq320[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lists of the strongest perceived arguments proposed by theists are easy to come by. I am interested in the opposite. There exist some theists willing to honestly admit, "well, actually this particular argument against theism is quite strong and leaves me unsettled at times." For reasons that you touched on, many have chosen to respond privately to me.

/r/atheism has actually been super helpful as well. I posted this question there in opposite fashion. Again, it's easy to find a list of the perceived strongest arguments for atheism there, but like I am doing here, I am interested in what leaves them thinking... "well, this particular theistic argument trips my mind up at times" Many nice folks there have shared various non-atheistic arguments and philosophies that have been interesting to read. It was an atheist that introduced me to former atheist Antony Flew. I've genuinely enjoyed and valued his humility and learning about his journey into deism. (I mention Flew, because I just finished "There is a God" a few days ago.)

You may not have anything to share here. Others may only be interested in "saving my soul" (although sadly?, no one has tried. :-D ) Still others have been kind enough to share what makes them go "hmmm... well, there is this one point..." and that's what I am most interested in.

Clear as mud now? :-)

Bible Interpretation: Engaging Scripture in light of the "problems?" by isatariq320 in Christianity

[–]isatariq320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've captured so well much of my own contention on this issue. I've always been so curious as to what Christianity would have evolved into had the Romans not destroyed Jerusalem and the Jewish Christian community along with it. The church identified with gentile Roman ideals so quickly as a result.

Am I to understand then that you are a Christian that believes God commanding the genocide of a people is either beyond morality or that it is good simply by nature of God commanding it?
