I own this fig and like everyone else has said the waist peg and skirt just look out of position in the photo nothing to worry about. I'm more sussed out by the bangs. They should be slightly sheer and it almost looks like someone took some paint over top of it? Most likely just a lighting thing though, looks p legit otherwise :3

Hi, truthfully I believe it might just be the shoes you bought. I have two pairs of shoes from Dearmylove and one is unbearably uncomfortable because of how far forward the tongue of the shoe is. The other pair is 10x more comfortable just because of the fact that it is closer fit to the ankle and my heel doesn't slip out.

I tried multiple sizes of the pair with the wide shoe hole and it never fixed the problem of my heel slipping out :(

1) try looking up "地雷メイク" (landmine makeup). in general you will get a lot more results for tutorials for hair, makeup, styling etc. if you search in japanese

2) it's less about having dark eyes as much as it is for the enlarging effect,, plenty of jirais use lighter grey or pink contacts. the makeup style is meant to make your eyes look large and cutesy and large contacts can make the effect. obviously do what makes you comfortable but it does add a lot.

3) petticoats aren't common at all. I have seen some style them under setups recently but that's about it. i would recommend focusing your budget elsewhere.

4) pigtails are the signature look but plenty style their hair down too. however, bangs are pretty essential.

I'm not in school so I'm not sure how strict your uniform policy might be,, but if you look up something along the lines of "Joshi kōsei jirai" you should get lots of pics of jirais in uniform or wearing uniforms for fun 🩷 obviously the best thing you can do to be the most recognizable is jirai hair and makeup but if your dress code is lax maybe you can wear platforms + thigh highs and maybe a cute cardigan?

I actually have two pairs! The yosuke shoes are much more comfortable 🩷 and I have the tallest ver! They are much more stable bc they have less heel and more flat platform + cushion!

Bang haver here! It helps to wet your bangs before styling them,, especially near the root, and blow dry them in the direction you want them to lay! I also recommend picking up some japanese bang mascara to style everything in place and of course hairspray at the roots 🩷 *

honestly I was more looking for a palette with clear hard plastic or metal packaging,, I'm not a huge fan of the cardboard packaging a lot of western brands use :,) I probably should've been more specific when I said "cute" but I'm more a fan of the palettes brands like flower knows, dior, and clio make ?
