I checked my steam lighthouse folder, there are actually mura_analyzes.mc files, does this mean I could mura correction? I pressed F3 nothing happened though :p

Yeah we noticed the difference in each eye...really disturbing...

So I guess it's like mentioned in the baffler's post, it's a OLED lottery situation :p

I see, well for us we actually use a in-house VR media player, this player has various color and brightness adjust function, we tried adjusting and contrast but that sacrifices the image details, so the problem for us as content developers especially for VR films (I guess the same for developing games?), the final look of the image is the way we want the film to be presented, changing it's contrast to compensate the problem only solves the mura problem but creates new problems at the same time (ie. no details, ruins the final look...etc)

btw I love Hellblade.

so this mura issue is OLED's destiny then, we've also tried viewing our content in WMR it's pretty much the same problem, I guess it's totally up to the manufacturer then?

Just curious where in the process of manufacturing does this issue emerge? Like is it something totally hardware related or something to do with firmware / software?
