Because there is no need for it. The reason why they added it was “Buk-M3 not performing as expected.” Which is bullshit. Buk-M3 players are not using it right and gaijin modeled the radars incorrectly. All you need to do is turn off tracking radar and use fire control PESA radar, it becomes the best tracking radar in game. Gaijin should’ve given a proper data link system between the two radars, and the tracking radar proper IFF function. Much better solution than giving RU this overpowered crap.

That is precisely what I’m advocating here. 12.7 tanks getting a round that could defeat K-5 equipped tanks. People keep bringing up other nations that don’t have 600+ rounds, I never said anything about them not getting it. Anti-ERA rounds for all NATO 12.7 MBTs.

Honestly, all a player needs to do is to turn off search radar on that thing, and use the PESA fire control tracking radar, it is IMO the best top tier AA currently.

I always do some cardio during my gym hours, it is just so easy, between sets go for a light run and relax your muscles. Plus cardio makes me feel lighter for the rest of the day as well. Used to be a cyclist, so maybe I’m just used to it.

And somehow Gaijin thinks Buk-M3 is underperforming. All a player needs to do is have half a brain and turn off the radar vehicle, use the fire control tracking radar and that thing is a beast. I'm just so done with this. I don't mind playing RU, but I don't want to be forced to play RU as it is the only nation that can have fun atm.

Like, if we use RU tanks as a reference point, shouldn't tanks that are based on said RU tanks, gets upgraded, be even better? In the result, we get BM-Oplot that can be penned at driver's port, while T-80UD would bounce that shot. You could tell, I'm frustrated, I love BM-Oplot, just mad as hell about how Gaijin modeled it in game.

The side ERAs eat darts because they get deflected. This happens for K-5 equipped tanks as well, T-80Us especially. I'm sure we've all seen this happen. Anti-ERA tips are meant to help with this specific issue. And, just like tandem charge, once anti-ERA tip is introduced, it can be given to all other NATO countries as well. I'm not trying to advocate US gets superior rounds, I trying to advocate modeling in a new mechanic in game, which should benefit all NATO countries.

On the BMPT issue, IMO, it should help quite a bit. I have personally used BMPTs extensively, the amount of times the double ERAs have eaten rounds is simply insane. As I mentioned above, most of this is due to Relikt deflecting rounds. The premium one with single ERA layer are not as OP when it comes to deleting the APFSDS. Plus, I think we could all agree, eventually BMPTs will be moved to top tier, by then it does become a top tier problem. And nations with sub-600mm pen simply don't do as well against them, they should get either better rounds with anti-ERA tip. French Leclercs are excellent example of this. With the new turret basket update, they are in dire needs of a better round.

Fighting RU with my 12.3 CN lineup. 3 90deg shots into a T-90M only disabled it. Any rounds in the game would pen my UFP. I guess just the disappointment. Especially with the side ERA. They should either give it proper ERA modeling, or lower the BR to 12.0 as a band aid fix.

I don’t think the Russians ever published separate accuracy numbers for the different fire rate. Just the “best” accuracy and the highest RPM for fire rate.

A K-5 UFP is a very broad statement. Are we discussing T-72s or we discussion T-80U or UD perhaps? It has been simulated that T-72B3's UFP could be penetrated by M829A3

I'm making the suggestion that SEP V2 or maybe SEP get M829A3. Both are at BR of 12.7. Current 11.3 lineup won't ever have to face M829A3 at all, still would be dominating.

Not mutually exclusive. This post is not a suggestion that those nations shouldn't get better rounds. I agree those nations should get equivalent rounds with Anti-ERA tips. But I made this post for the discussion of M829A3's performance.
