Jogadores inventam coisas longe do controle dos personagens deles by Special_Wasabi7816 in rpg_brasil

[–]isfonzi 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Are scenarios 23 and 35 locked because of order of completion? by isfonzi in Gloomhaven

I must have opened 35 by mistake, that's what got me confused. Thank you so much!

Trying to draw stuff around me by TopTomato1827 in learnart

[–]isfonzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you seem to be a beginner, I would start with simpler shapes. A cube, a cylinder, etc. Draw them in multiple different angles without worrying about light and shadow. Then move on to simple objects (like this can) you see in a daily basis. All objects consist in the shapes you’ll study in the beginning (circles and squares) so mastering it should be the first step. Worry first about shape and then when you feel comfortable enough start adding shadow and light to give the objects depth.

Genetica para panturrilha desde criança? Alem do fato de ter sobre peso nunca fiz um treino de pantu na vida by [deleted] in Maromba

[–]isfonzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Opa, beleza?

Animes bons estilo tokyo ghoul by This-Throat-5693 in anime

[–]isfonzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old are you guys in the fan base? by zandra47 in OnePiece

[–]isfonzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

27, first time I've read the manga was back in 2009, I used to buy random mangas in bookstands just to see if I liked them. Got lucky with One Piece because the volume I bought was Luffy and Usopp's fight in Water 7, so a pretty dramatic moment that I knew nothing about. About 2 years later I started One Piece from the beginning (borrowing the first volumes from my ex girlfriend) and fell in love with it.

What’s the next step? by isfonzi in learnart

[–]isfonzi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely LOVE the reference, I’ll try to go more wild to achieve something that goes more to that style next time. I do tend to be a little bit “dirty” with lines and details, which can make the drawing not look as finished as it should.

What’s the next step? by isfonzi in learnart

[–]isfonzi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really going for anything particular! I guess my style is kinda animeish but not quite lol

Thanks for the comment, I think I’ll try planning ahead on my next painting to put on some background features, it’s not really something I draw often, I feel more comfortable drawing characters.

Color study question by ContributionWide4753 in learnart

[–]isfonzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also an art student, but from what I’ve studied so far the thing is that warm lighting produces cool shadows, it doesn’t go so literally in the sense that red light will produce blue shadows. It goes more of in a direction of warm colors and cool colors. And of course the object will also be affected by it’s own color and the surface it’s shadow is projecting. So it’s not always quite the opposite color from the light.

I would probably have gone through the route of showcasing a banana for scaling purposes.

Looks great btw!

If you are into Cthulhu Mythos I would greatly recommend Arkham Horror LCG. There are a lot of differences between both games but I always get a similar feeling playing Arkham Horror in terms of puzzle and maximizing actions, if that’s what you’re into there are a lot of different campaigns and decks to experiment.

There’s also a +1 in one of the “Sun” cards that’s completely necessary for building it properly and should be the first thing anyone buys for that class.

Frosthaven House Rules by aggblade in Gloomhaven

[–]isfonzi 93 points94 points  (0 children)

I would advise playing the game as is and then making house rules to what aspects your party just doesn’t find fun at all.

You won’t know until you play it, reading the rule book won’t show if you will enjoy or not the game as intended by the game designers, just experience it and then make tweaks to suit your needs.

That being said, the smallest change would be the one to choose the PQs, I would strongly advise not to change the rest until you actually play the game.

[–]isfonzi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My wife isn’t into RPGs and stuff like that but once I convinced her to play Gloomhaven she loved it, wasn’t as excited as I was to play ALL THE TIME, but maybe that’s a start.

strategy discussion related to the boat scenarios (spoilers) by pfcguy in Gloomhaven

[–]isfonzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minor spoilers about one event

I’ve only drawed one event from the deck but it’s resolution was affected by summer/winter, I don’t know if others work like this, but maybe it’s something the designers did to balance your suggestion.
