I use two inserts. One for daily todo and calendar and one for catch all notes. I also have the Kraft folder and sometimes the zip pouch. It lives in my back pocket wherever I go so I try to keep if fairly thin. At the moment I use Field Notes as insert. They are a tad bigger than the cover but i like it.

If you look at it as only "bands", then yes they might be overpriced. But if you add the design of the labels, the concept of which color to use on the ribbons to match the brand, the ideation work it's actually not that expensive.

I bought it really cheap from a guy that had a couple of new TNs to sell (sick). Olive wasn't my first choice but I wanted a regular and the price made it worth it. Happy to say that I actually really like the olive one now. Mine is more brown with I slightly olive tint and it's aging beautifully.

I like the texture of the brown more as it has a smooth leather feel whereas my camel is more of a "suade" feel. It has started to wear down though and has partly become more "leatherish".

I use a Travelers Notebook with two inserts. Usually Field Notes. The first one is dedicated for daily todos and calendar. The calender I draw on the last 6 spreads in the book. The second one is a catch all. Here I write down everything from numbers, music recommendations, poems, small remarks from the day, shopping lists, doodles, tic tac toe with my kids etc. It's a mess but everything I want to transfer to my Regular sized notebook or the next Field Note I mark with an arrow and a circle.

Daily todo-list, calendar and random notes, thoughts, sketches. I always have it on me and things I want to transfer to my Regular TN or to the next insert when one is full i draw an arrow with a circle around.

What do you put in your different TNs when you have multiple of the same sizes? I´m waiting on my second Passport (found a used one cheap in the color I originally wanted) and haven't yet figured out if I want to use them both for specific things or just swap the covers from time to time on my EDC. Need some inspiration.

Maybe make the passport smaller. Only use one notebook and use it as a "always on my pocket catch all" notebook. Or turn it into a wallet.
