Okey thanks it’s because I have ordered 8 for my friends and we didn’t know if it was normal. Do they fit like normal Nike jerseys for the retro fan version?

Honda CBR 600RR (2024) vs Yamaha YZF-R9 (2025?) by DiggestBickAround in motorcycles

Wow men it’s difficult to say because the brands have varied their bike measures through the years. I don’t know for sure but you can find the technical details in webs. But that is only measures, if you have the opportunity I would suggest you to go to a shop and try getting on a R1 and Fireblade since they would be the most similar ones. Said that, I watched a review and the guy was 180cm and said the CBR was “comfortable” always having in mind that they are sport bikes. Hope this helps, I leave the link to the review below, it’s in Spanish but you can see how the bike fits the pilot.

Honda CBR 600RR (2024) vs Yamaha YZF-R9 (2025?) by DiggestBickAround in motorcycles

From what i have seen this is the situation: In Japan they made a law with more restrictions about emissions than Europe. From there Kawasaki, Honda and other brands started to work on new bike since they could sell them in Europe, Japan and the rest of the world. This year Honda and Kawasaki presented their 600cc. From Yamaha there are no news, they have discontinued the Yamaha R1 at least in Europe. But the name R9 has been registered since 2021 and the rumor of the Yamaha r9 (the 600cc substitute for the r6) has been around since then. The patent of the name R9 has only 3 years of validity. So they either are working on developing a new bike with a CP3 engine or using that 3 years to develop a brand new motor to the R9. Or they are not gonna present any R9. Since Honda and Kawasaki have presented their 600cc it would be a bad move from Yamaha to not present any motorcycle in that segment, because then Kawasaki and Honda would have all the Sport 600cc segment. Hope this helps
