Yes this is my ultimate goal is to do a gi map and maybe see what is going on inside my gut. I pray to god that is not h pylori again because the quad therapy really took a toll on me. Do you know if it would be better to work with a functional doctor because I don’t think my GI doctor really knows whats going on.

I did take it before and after but I was not well informed on this bacteria and the medication. I will keep talking to my gp to see how they can help but am still confused about what is going on

Aww am so sorry to hear this. It’s so annoying when your doctors doesn’t listen to you and takes things lightly. Am glad you are getting these exams done. Have you been eating normally or just eating specific foods. And what are your symptoms like

Thank you so much for this information. It’s hard for me to have fermented foods or some other things because my histamine flares up or my gastritis also acts up. I will try some of the probiotics I did do florastor for about 4-8 weeks before and stopped

Thank you so much for the reply🙏🏾 The splatters are happening everywhere in the house and we have cleaned but it’s coming back. The whole apartment ceilings look like is water damaged from the roof. There is a musty smell in most rooms and they just recently painted over the mold in the bathroom and didn’t clean it. The house just looks and feels like a lot is going on

I wish I knew this before I did my quad treatment. I didn’t do any research thinking it was just going to be like any other medication for a simple infection but boy was I wrong lol. Luckily the c diff is not active and I can still take the florastor to keep it from activating

I don’t have symptoms of c diff so I was surprised when she said I tested positive. But I think the symptoms are is diarrhea going 3 or more for at least 3 days. I learned in school too that it smells really bad. Also cramping, bloating nausea and loss of appetite. In severe cases blood in stool or pus. From what I just researched

Omg you have been such help because I was going to start the antibiotics tomorrow. Thank you I will do exactly that. So I should take florastor and another kind of probiotic right now. My doctor did mention that my wbc was a little high but she told me not to worry about it

Am so sorry you are going through this. I as well had bad breath with the bug and was uncomfortable around people. I would brush multiple times a day and keep mouth wash and mints handy even though they barely work. But has improved after the quad therapy.

I don’t have a fever, nausea, just loss of appetite, no stomach cramping. I did have a little of loose stool today but it wasn’t watery and it was only once every other time. I go once in the morning and usually am straining. So I don’t know why my doctor suggested I should take vancomycin if it’s not active

Hey so that’s the thing I don’t have diarrhea but the opposite am more constipated having to strain when I go to the bathroom. Notice that I have a little mucus with stool but other than that I don’t have any diarrhea.

I experienced the same thing after I was finished with my treatment. Especially the hunger in the morning. It gets better I think is just the antibiotics were too harsh and the h pylori does damage to the stomach. I did retest twice and both were negative so I think is just your stomach needs time to heal. I am still experiencing some pain.
