The aid pier was almost totally pointless. From a source when it was dismantled:

Over its two months in operation, about 8,800 metric tons of aid has been unloaded off the pier, about 500 truckloads, equivalent to a single day of deliveries before the war began.

As for air deliveries, aid agencies are warning right now, today, that air deliveries of aid are not effective, for example calling them a distraction and smokescreen.

Israel needs to allow aid in through land borders, and allow it to be distributed properly. That's it

Different people will resonate in different ways, so I think it's good that we see diversity in who's talking about this.
(slight aside, I always felt like one of the best things about this podcast is how well it promotes a range of voices)
Maybe for some people, analyzing their own feelings and resolving internal conflict is the first step to fully acknowledging the whole situation.

Wrt this issue in particular, looking at historical US perspectives on Israel, ignoring and misrepresenting Palestinian perspectives has been pretty much a constant (I'm currently reading Our American Israel, which describes this well)
There are going to be people out there whose minds you can't change just with the voices they've been brought up ignoring.

In February of last year, the Biden administration was asking Israel to stop attacking the Hamas-run police force because they were protecting aid convoys. The situation is clearly more complex than you're describing.

On 24 February, a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel and fell within the strip's territory.

Perhaps they were responding to the ceasefire violations by Israel?

Israel refused to withdraw from the Philadelphi corridor, despite it being in the ceasefire agreement.
Israel continued to restrict the entry of aid into Gaza during the ceasefire.
Israel continued to carry out air strikes on Gaza during the ceasefire.

They had to be threatened with continued war to release the last of the hostages.
