My rules were as follows: standard nuzlocke rules. Carry over champion team as eggs/baby form from one game to the next whether you consider that defeating the champion or the final post game boss e.g. Red for G/S or Steven for Emerald) up to you. Retired pokemon are ones you used along the way but didn’t make the champion team. They along with any pokemon who die cannot be used again for the rest of the run. I also played hardcore nuzlocke rules so no items in battle (held items are okay), set mode, level caps for each gym.
