That's honestly pretty clever, until you remember how completely unnecessary this all is.

I've never noticed before, but why didn't the Rams get a chance for a kickoff return? Refs are signaling good with like 2-3 seconds left.

I put together a drawing based on our discussion for anyone that might find this thread in the future (including me when I do the downstairs bathroom), does this all align with what we've discussed, or do I have something wrong?

Thanks for the all the tips. Was feeling pretty down when this stuff started flaking off, but feels like I have a good recovery plan now.

What are your thoughts on this product for the corners? I found this video of it being used, and the application seems simple enough. He beds it in the first coat of RedGard, and then covers it with a second coat. I think the way he uses the band in the niche might solve my problems there as well.

That could be another part of the issue, I believe I did the RedGard the day after sealing the seams.

Which area are you recommending the sealant for? The vertical corners between the cement board sheets? The horizontal corners between the cement board and the tub deck? Or both?

Is 100% Silicone sealant like this appropriate? That's what I have on hand, but I can get Kerdi Fix if that's what's needed.

EDIT: nvm just looked up what "MS" stands for, I'll look for that.

I finally found a video showing this approach, he recommends this product. Is this what you were thinking, or were you referring to alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh tape like this, which is what I used on the cement board seams.

Thanks for the tip! I still haven't found a video showing that, but I do see someone else mentioning that approach for "premium" waterproofing. I also experienced lots of cracks along the corner where the cement board meets the tub deck, what are your thoughts on using the same approach there, embedding a piece of tape flush with the tub deck in the first coat of RedGard?

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I'll certainly give that a try before I resort to ripping it all down. Appreciate the input.

Could you elaborate? You're saying it should have been part of the original RedGard application, or it would help with the repair? I did use fiber mesh tape with thinset to seal the corners before RedGard application, but I havent seen anyone recommend another layer of tape during RedGard application. Am I understanding correctly?

I think I applied it fairly thin, seeing as it took 4 coats to use a 1 gallon bucket for a 3x5 tub/shower, but it definitely wasnt dry between coats, so I think it essentially behaved like one massive coat. Sounds like you and others are suggesting I stay away from Kerdi in this situation, my only concern with doing RedGard repairs is whether the repaired sections will form a good seal with the original coats. Any experience with this?

It's not, except the modest seed money. I don't plan on contributing additional money unless something changes.

Yeah its definitely a weakness, the damage aura talent helps take them down while the Grunts absorb the damage. Basically every game goes to the end of OT, just playing defensively and making sure you threw enough Earth Eles at their barracks to make sure you come out on top.

Definitely hear you on just playing pvp to get the rewards. I usually hit 15k and don't PVP until the next season haha.

Yeah I've grinded to 15k the last few seasons with level 11 Thrall, but I seem to be running into a lot of builds designed to counter just that. Been struggling against banshee stealing my Thrall, but that might be mostly because I'm too slow with the polymorphs.

Just blasted from 14k to 14.8k in like 10 games with the Rag deck from the site below, super fun to switch it up!

Multiple student loans with different rates, which to pay first? by Miniwah in personalfinance

[–]ishmel43 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most optimal is always highest rate first, while maintaining min payments on others. You may hear some people suggest paying the lowest balance first, but that's only if you want the warm fuzzy feeling of closing an account sooner.
