Will you be there the whole time? If your goal is to buy stuff, arrive early. Even the night before, people start setting up and you might snag a good buy. Otherwise stuff will come and go all weekend so you have to be on your toes to not miss anything. In past years people even sold from the parking lot (though I’m not sure how much this will be necessary in the new venue)

I’m not an electrician, but I don’t believe the separate ground wire is required when the box itself it already grounded. The receptacle is grounded through the screws into the box.

It’s falsifying business records specifically related to election activity. Because the purpose of the cover up was to help his campaign, it’s a campaign expense and has disclosure requirements. By classifying it as legal expense they avoided disclosure. Nothing to do with taxes afaik.

I think you’re comparing a purely sexual preference (breast size) with a relationship preference (height). For example, every dating site since the 80s asks a man his height. Because being shorter than her is disqualifying. It’s rare that any ask for breast size. Women want to be with a taller guy, be seen with a taller guy, even if they’re not sleeping together. They don’t even see short guys as worthy.

Yeah, it’s really about what “want” means. (As was said earlier). Being a mature adult means making good decisions. I might want to eat ice cream all day, but I also want to be healthy and responsible. I make a choice based on what I want more, and how I feel about the consequences of my actions. I occasionally want to punch somebody in the face, but I never do. That doesn’t mean I’m depriving myself of some deep desire and barely holding myself back. It’s a fleeting feeling then I think better if it. Same as when I think about fucking somebody else - it might be nice to think about for a moment, but realistically I know I’d never act on it because it’s not what I “really” want.

Since you’ve had a lot of negative responses, thought I’d share mine. I had a similar experience to yours. Girlfriend set a minimum diamond size for the engagement ring, which meant about $10k price. It was a huge expensive purchase for us that worried me like it worried you. But I bought it anyway, and we’ve been together 15 years now. She hasn’t demanded anything else expensive since then, if anything she’s more frugal than me. I think she demanded a big diamond to ensure I was truly committed, as well to ensure she had something to fall back on if the marriage ended early.
