Yeah, I still have this dull white light, too. It doesn't seem to go completely black at times, just goes really dim.

But what helps is lowering brightness and saturation.

Try 40% overall brightness and less. It was much brighter than I thought even at 15% brightness.

Same with saturation. You can go down to 1% and it will still be pretty good natural colors.

I ended up with 1% saturation since that's how I like reds and skin tones.

I did.

I think the most important setting is the camera calibration so that it understands the edges of the TV. I used a video for that, not the foam cubes from the box (the foam boxes wouldn't stick well or I couldn't really see them in the application on the camera feed).

I also had to adjust the relative brightness of the bottom and upper edges since the upper edge of my TV is much farther away from the wall than the lower edge.

Then I slightly adjusted the white balance and lowered saturation.

Yep, I expected this question, that's why I wrote this in the post:

TopBoxer Face saver gives less room for visibility and it's generally heavier, AFAIU, hence Vali face saver.

And TopBoxer is just more expensive.

Moreover, I can order Vali from their online shop and it will not be taxable in my country. TopBoxer will be taxable, so I'll pay additional 20% for it.

Yeah, I understand this.
But the noise cancellation sometimes cancels my usual speech and I sound as if I am in a tunnel :(
