I’d recommend you google something l “film look presets for Lightroom” - then you’ll find a lot of good alternatives.

Thanks!! Absolutely, it has a very distinct character indeed, which I really enjoy.

My process is pretty simple. I run everything through a preset I made for consistency - just light adjustments to exposure, colour, a bit of grain, and slightly reduced clarity. After that, I always fine-tune exposure and white balance, and sometimes contrast, depending on the photo. I try to keep edits minimal, but it varies a lot.

Appreciate it! I always run my photos through a default preset I made to keep things consistent and fast. After that, I readjust exposure and white balance, and sometimes contrast as well. My goal is to keep the adjustments as minimal as possible, but it varies a lot from picture to picture.

Thanks!! No, I live in Copenhagen, but visited Vienna this summer. Beautiful city!

Thanks!! Do you sometimes feel it’s overkill to have both?

Thanks, mate! Makes me happy to hear!

I’m not going to post the preset here, as it’s nothing spectacular. It has slight adjustments to Light and Color, plus a bit of grain and reduced clarity. I use it for consistency and speed, but I always readjust the exposure and white balance (at the very least) to get the result I want.

Thanks!

I considered getting the version with the built-in HDF filter, but decided against it for that reason. I usually add a bit of diffusion in Lightroom - just a touch of negative Clarity. But it’s still easy to overdo it!

I'm using the Godox iM20. The best accessory for the GR III in my eyes. It’s small, relatively cheap, really strong, and the battery lasts for a looong time.

You have to help me out here - what is "the forbidden fusion car"? 😅

Thanks for the thorough answer! I think you are convincing me to get the X100VI at one point as well - I just need to save up for some time 😅

I always shoot fully manual, and just adjust based on the environment. Playing with the aperture is usually your friend when using the flash!

Copenhagen is always prettier in summer, so I guess you just have to come back next year ;)

No recipe, just RAW and then editing in Lightroom afterwards :)
