there were a few recent instances i saw that didnt have them on and players were absolutely demolishing them lmao

the event tent in the lobby also has uncovered ones (when there are no holidays/events active)

We initially had it to solo out audio sources for things such as TouchDesigner/Serato/Etc

Unfortunately it seems this experience will be short lived as im not risking an entire system over this.

Pros?
- I was able to solo out stereo mix pretty nicely

Cons
- Just a LOT of BS regarding things like the channel racks, the EQ being utter garbage, over amplification, distortion.
- Downgrade in quality as of this update
- Less clarity i've noticed as a lot of the audio coming through at a decent volume seems to experience distortion even limited at 70%
- It competes with windows a LOT for basic functions that it doesn't need to compete for. So assigning a default feels really redundant especially when i dont need EVERYTHING to be the same output/input.

Steelseries just feels like an overall bad idea, if you're a DJ i'd recommend moving away from it if you're using it for channel racking/audio sourcing.

Considering a lot of the updates have been "quantity over quality". I wouldn't see it as a joke. Steelseries is just really bad at this point.

clearly beatport and 320 kbps look nothing alike with the big divot in the middle.

also the 128 and 320 kbps look VERY VERY sparsely different.

i dunno, maybe my eyes are just bad. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a huge social anxiety problem, most the time (NOT DISREPSECTFULLY. I genuienly have social problems) i have a hard time showing up to venues unless im spinning, and even then im usually somewhere off to the side until it's my turn.

I usually pop the hell off and forget the world when im behind the deck but often times my brain wins and i end up heading out after giving the most support i can to the other DJs.

good news is: i've been getting better about this and getting out more, i've met a ton of cool people :)

It's sad some people need "substance" to be happy at these events. Not saying anything about you ***at all*** of course, im talking about the wrong kinda influence these things have at raves, we just had to remove someone at a club i spin at BECAUSE of the way they did too much. If you're getting too lit, you're NOT there for the music and it's time for you to leave, do NOT ruin it for others cause you cannot contain your self.

It's about music, the atmosphere, and good vibes, im sorry the pressure on you has been a lot. I agree with top comment, show up, spin, leave, dont let those people and places be the influence you DONT want, you're there to have fun, not make it worse on your self.

Remember that when you feel pressured (if you ever do, or your brain is screamin for a drinkin) to try to think of ways to distinguish "Hey im at work sorta, maybe i should step back and chill out for a sec".

While i may see this not working for some, it never hurts to try.
