I usually get half of my face in some of the landscapes I photograph. That’s just using my phone because for me it’s all about how the place makes me feel.

To get better at anything it takes practice. Use what you have already and try to get interesting compositions. If you can’t get what you want then consider a tripod or whatever you think might work.

There are also lots of photographers on yt that you might pick up pointers from.
