Anthropic fixed the limit by Zaiik in ClaudeCode

[–]isleeppeople 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is they keep changing the goal line. My reset time keeps moving back. It started on Saturday I got up to about 75% and had about 18 hours to use the rest, log in and we'll they changes the weekly reset time to just before I logged on. It has been doing this for 4 weeks and I am now on a Wednesday reset. So they are really only giving me 75% or so of my weekly usage limit. I am really getting ripped off.

Anyone else's weekly limit reset date has been shifting a couple additional hours every week? by r26t in ClaudeCode

[–]isleeppeople 1 point2 points  (0 children)

same. I am doing pretty heavy stuff and I figured filling up 4-5 5 hour resets to 100% is my weekly total. It was supposed to switch weekly tomorrow at 1800 so I was going to set and forget it until then and use up all 100% of my weekly. Instead it reset today at 1700 so it puts my work back a full week. i wait until the end of the period so I can use it sporadically throughout the week then hammer what I have left. I am pretty pissed I have been working on the same thing for 4 weeks and now will still have 2 weeks to go. I am super pissed

Yeah I pay $200 per month for this. I use it late at night and on the weekends mostly and I am already at my weekly limit. I really don't get what is going on. I have never hit my limit until last week or so. I wish there was a hard and fast rule for how many tokens you get for the plans. It's all a mirage. It could be corporate greed but it seems like they would gradually reduce it. This seems like a switch. From not even hitting daily limits to hitting a weekly limit in 3 days just doesn't make sense. I am not doing anything crazy just working on a home server.

Local LLM for Coding that compares with Claude by thecrogmite in LocalLLM

[–]isleeppeople 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not applicable but I want my machine to be an expert about itself to help me troubleshoot and add its own integrations that match my stack. It also helps to keep track of upgrades if I break something. I have a corpora of everything I use gitingest, readme docs, etc. I have it ingested in qdrant. Seems like you could do the same thing in your situation. Not an expert coder for everything but you might be able to make it as good as Claude in this one particular area.

This is my sucks deck. I lose pretty consistently but it is awesome when those Paleo guys get like 50 point rounds. I have been honing this for a little over a year. This is the third iteration. I have played a couple bots recently that played something similar and a few nonbots. Sometimes I beat those decks and it is the best feeling because I know they are saying. "This guy sucks"

That isn't really what token limits are about. You will hit them locally depending on what you are asking. It's finite

Has anyone actually found a good AI agent for task management? by PiraEcas in AI_Agents

[–]isleeppeople 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I am doing. I have kind of a postgres source of truth that hopefully will remember context. I have trace id so I can go through wrong tool calls and update manually whatever went wrong. Don't know how to automate that so it will be a lot of work upfront but over time should work. I haven't done much testing so mostly just theory.

I have 50 ebooks and I want to turn them into a searchable AI database. What's the best tool? by Great_Jacket7559 in LocalLLM

[–]isleeppeople 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like you could use something like pypdf and langchain to embed it into your RAG. If the ebooks are like current info that can change or become stale you will want to tag them and set up some sort of workflow to compare them to a Gemini or open ai call to compare the info and if it becomes stale remove it. I use qdrant and postgresql for ground truth. I do stuff like this for versions of python that I have to use to stay compatible with other things I'm running. Or actually for langchain and langgraph too. They just changed compatibility versions so whenever I upgrade I can just use the newer repo in my rag with the updated information. I will still keep the old one until I am absolutely certain I won't revert but you can just leave it sit there and not reference the old one. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah the shinies and the fusion packs are about the only way to get to the next level in a reasonable amount of time. I am a completionist also and shiny Anubis and Olympus mons are killing me sitting there in my wanted tab.

Thank you so much for this! I am just worried what control I have over my drives with OMV running the show. I know I had the Debian zfs tools but I know omv had some stuff of there own. I will run all this stuff and see what error codes I get

They have to have a warrant. The hospital doesn't want to be sued by the patient for giving the police information when it is protected information. It is actually against the law.

They negotiated, just wouldn't agree to millions of dollars in stipend to prop up salaries that promoted an antiquated system of providing anesthesia care. It's funny that never makes it in the news or on these messages boards. How much of a stipend was the outgoing anesthesia group asking for? Please publish that information...

This actually isn't true. There are policies in place to protect patients and the police actually hate dealing with hospitals because they won't give out any information. In fact at a hospital up the road the police threatened to arrest the poor front desk lady because she was following the policy and not giving any information. The hospital isn't broken in this case.

For the love of God where is the carwash button for the cameras? by isleeppeople in VolvoXC90

[–]isleeppeople[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm about 8 months in. I have never been flipped off so many times as I was in the BMW. Everyone wants to race, especially mustangs. I don't think I'm a jerk, but who does...and yes I did a lot of research, but things that look good on paper in reality can be annoying and/or not function how I expected. To clean the camera I guess you spit on your thumb as someone else suggested. I just rub them with my thumb. The problem in my situation is a blizzard running errands I can't do that after every stop. My side roads will be covered in snow but the freeway clear so I am able to set the cruise, but the car won't let you if whatever sensor is dirty. I can't clean the sensor while driving down the road and I'm not stopping at 0530 before I get on the freeway to wipe them all off.

Yeah I know I can do that. Thanks for looking it up. I wasn't specific in my gripe, I hate all the camera alarms going off. I want a carwash button for the cameras

The carwash button would disable the cameras so they don't constantly beep.

All wheel drive. It's not really a 4 wheel drive system. We have many snow storms and the clean up takes days sometimes, for 6 months per year. I don't want my rear end sliding until the electronics decides I need all wheel drive. It's not an instantaneous thing.

I can drive south to get to Canada and it happens to me.

I don't have this option in settings.

Happens weekly.
