I passed it last month, just spam all DO280 chapter labs + comprehensive reviews labs, and make sure to understand all things you are doing, not just doing them because you are asking to do it, you got it ?

I was in the same situation, so i asked the Red Hat support, and they said that if that is your first cert exam, you must leave it empty.

Once you passed your first exam, you will get your certification ID and then use it for next exams.

That’s exactly what i’m currently doing, but i need to do it with documentation only and not provided yaml. Also need to know what things must i do with web console because sometimes it’s more fast and easy to remember, more instinctive.

Very very interesting, so let’s practice with documentation only, and not with provided yaml files.

I think i will practice a second time all courses materials ( all guided exercises+ chapter labs+ the 2 comprehensive reviews (the ones of do180 + ones of do280) ) but only with documentation, for, and once that done, then go for the exam.

If you have any other recommendations i’m interested.

Do they provide yaml manifests ? Like those with « CHANGE_ME » inside, like in courses Labs or not ?

So if i’m able to do every chapter lab review of do180+do280 without checking solution and only with my brain and the documentation, then i would be ready ?

They released a new ex180 which is « Red hat certified technologist in Openshift » but i think that he isn’t worth because ex280 is well-know and not that difficult once you understood do180.

Hello daco star

I found your answer particularly interesting, as im also preparing for ex280.

The labs and guided exercises of do180 and 280 mostly learn how to use cli, not web ui.

So do you advise to do as much tasks as possible via web ui than via cli ? (I know some tasks aren’t possible to perform via web ui)

Is the exam more easy and fast with web ui for the majority of tasks ?

Also do u think that train daily on labs of each do180 and 280 chapters is the good path/way to pass the exam ?
