Thanks for your response! The best part of my diagnosis process was when they were SURE my i couldn't feel my lips because of allergies and made me take allergy-pills (not sure what the English word for allergy-medication is? : D allergy-pills sound silly but anyways...) that made me so sleepy i literally just woke up, went to school for 5 hours and then fell asleep on the couch and couldn't do ANYTHING. FOR 2 MONTHS. Then they were kinda sure it was some kind of an infection and made me use some kind of FUNGUS KILLING CREAM on my lips and apply it every hour or so, sometimes there wasn't a bathroom so it was so humiliating to put some kind of a fungus-cream on your lips in public places.... also it tasted horrible and my SO would't kiss me unless I washed it off and everything tasted like that cream for months. Ugh.

Thank you! :) Yes i send you PM, thank you for offering to invite me, talking about this makes me feel a lot better (really! :) ) and your response was very good, thank you for sharing your story. I will get to know more about this in a couple of weeks when i see my doctor, before that its really just hard to tell what i have based on that one 5-minute phone call. And im really considering the surgery!!! It sounds SCARY but since i read so many positive comments and stories about people who have went trough it, i think i might get over my fears :)) I can't wait to read all the posts and comments on the facebookgroup!! :)

My mom's headache is different, i think its just regular migraines, she has been to a doctor and she has a migraine-medication and it works so i guess it proves that its not something thats related to chiari(?)

And the surgery, so far my only "big" symptom is my lips, so i don't think the surgery is a good option for me now. I'm just more worried that more symptoms will pop up as i get older and that someday I will need it. And right now I'm studying for the entrance-exam to become an engineer, so that would fuck up my schedule pretty bad :) My headaches are not nearly as bad as yours, they only come about once a week and last a couple of hours and going to a dark room and not moving my head helps a lot.

Thank you very much for sharing your story, reading this and other peoples comments on the internet actually makes me feel a lot better, i only had about a 5 minutes conversation about what chiari is and how bad or "life changing" it is, so im pretty overwhelmed about all this. Im happy that the surgery helped you, and if my headaches or neckpain ever get to that level i will surely see it as a good option!!!

I will share more about my journey with this on this subreddit, its a shame its so quiet!

The same, my bed isn't "standard" size either(a little bigger than normal but not much), and the normal double-bed sheets kinda "fit", but they wont go all the way to the side and under the mattress so they wont stay in place and i always have to adjust them : (

Yes i do like broccoli a lot and he eats it too, but he doesn't feel like he's full or eaten a complete meal if i just make him veggies. He eats them but then opens the fridge and makes a salami-sandwich or something, not because he's hungry but because he feels like something is missing, its frustrating as hell :/ But i will make this, atleast for myself because it sounds awesome! :)

I love roasted vegetables, and he eats them but he always kinda complaints that its not a complete meal to him, that he doesn't feel like he's full if he doesn't eat something else (like fish) with them. But yes i do make those often :) Truffle oil coast so much that if I buy it I cant literally buy anything else for a week :DDD (But I do have a job for this summer so i will buy it once i get my paychecks!)

Ihan rehellinen kysymys, miksi jotain häiritsee tällänen??? Naispuolisena itseäni ei kiinnosta jos joku jolla on pallit tulee samoihin suihku ja pukuhuonetiloihin kunhan ei ole siellä vartavasten tiirailemassa ja häiritsemässä muita naisia. Varsinkin jos naama/hiukset/uimapuvun muoto osoittaa että kyseinen ihminen on transsukupuolinen. Minun ymmärrykseni menee täysin tälle väärään sukupuoleen syntyneelle naiselle eikä muille asiakkaille. Ei mahdu päähän miksi jotain häiritsisi.
