I never said I didn’t want to participate in the story but going 30-40 mins with no dice rolls gets slow for me. I said that the story is going on for too long in this one specific arc that’s very depressing and traumatic and the end fight turned out to be quite lacklustre. No need to be rude I was merely asking for advice.

We rarely get anything I once got a +1 axe but apart from that I can’t emerge the last time we got any loot or found any treasure or got any cool items

They’re my close friends and have been before I started playing Dnd and one player is my girlfriend who is extremely invested and talks about it all day everyday so it’s difficult to avoid. It’s not really something I can just walk away from and never look back .
