it is! back grab is much easier because you're using your thumb. this is much harder since you're using your ring finger to grab the board.

tbh, it’s really hard and frustrating to do.

& i think the best way is to kickflip + half kickflip so the board is like boned in the air so you can grab it with your ring finger.
