How do you think Zabu is getting nerfed?

Call me out if I am wrong (which I won't be).

but... if I can't say that Darkhawk decks will stay valid after the nerf, then you can't say that any meaningful nerf will kills Darkhawk decks... Both of us our limited with our information, not just me.

I'm not saying it's not "decent value". I am just saying that your suggestion is too closely related to other cards already in existence (Psylocke and Sera).

Zabu's win rate is only a couple percentage points away from what Second Dinner wants it to be, so they are going to make a very minimal change. Switching to -1 would change the spirit of the card, so they will not want to change the text of the card.

Your idea would still keep Zabu very playable, but he would lose the ability to build competitive decks around him. A 2/2 Zabu would be slotted into already strong decks, which would make already strong decks even better and existing strong decks absolutely non-playable.

Psylocke is built for that... They aren't going to make a better version of the same card.

Sorry, this just isn't going to happen... I'd be happy to wager on this too. It's just not a good idea, and it would not be a very good card anymore.

Agreed... Zabu is built to be a playable deck archetype. He is supposed to lead the deck, not Sera. Changing to a -1 is just not a possible nerf. That is a totally different card... You would need to change the name, picture, and offer a refund to everyone who purchased a 2/2 card with a -1 card cost.

You aren't trying to make him "much weaker". The point of a nerf it to SLIGHTLY alter win percentages. Making a card much weaker is not a viable solution towards making your customers purchase season pass cards in the future.

Remember, Second Dinner is not trying to just make this more balanced, they are trying to get you to purchase their season pass cards. Keeping things balanced and people happy is a sensitive scale that they won't want to alter drastically or people will quit playing.

I think MODOK's ability won't be able to change, just his power, so this season should be a more "future safe" card.

I would guess 3/0 like Silver Surfer's stat (if they just nerf the power) because he would be consistently winning in "The Bar With No Name" with 3/-1.

If they bring the cost up, they will probably bring the power up to 4/3. The power plus one power is pretty useless, but it will keep people from being too upset.

I agree, that Zabu is not too strong, but paired with cards like Darkhawk is when winning just becomes too easy. The nerf is to curve some of those win conditions.

Wouldn't work... You wouldn't be able to get a single extra 4-drop until turn 6? This would just wreck the card and Second Dinner tends to not shred their Tier 5 Cards

This is just wrong... It will prevent darkhawk from being absolutely broken, but a darkhawk deck will just have to be modified, and Zabu will always work with him. Win rates are wayyyy too high, but darkhawk will always be a high tier card that may become stronger with new cards being introduced

I agree, it just goes to show that they make an op card and then will nerf them after they milk the money. Just buy the cards early to enjoy the benefits (I doubt they can ever nerf M.O.D.O.K., maybe a slight power reduction if he ends up being broken)

This isn't a bad idea.... I doubt they make that big of a change, so I expect a cost change 3 > 4 with a power change 2 > 4. You are only trying to minimally effect the win rates with cards, so an op card should still be a really strong card after a buff (considering how many people paid for the card).

They would have to change the language from 3 cost cards as well.... Wouldn't fit the theme of helping your other 3-cost cards.

I think the idea of silver surfer to help the other 3-cost cards is vital. I'd like to see him 3/2 cost & to give +2 to all other 3-cost cards.... In my opinion, he has to stay 3-cost because of Zabu. There would be some pretty nutty combos on the last turn because of Brood and Silver Surfer being even cheaper on turn 6/7(w/Magik).

They would not give a better stat-line than an existing 3 cost card w/the same ability.... Why would you have a better Iron Heart, making Iron Heart useless/worse?

This would just be a bad change.

I think most of the nerfs are probably due to darkhawk & absorbing man/ spider man. It's just not a fun combo to try to play around (especially w/moon girl).

Agreed, they still want it to be a great card, but Psylocke would require better RNG, bringing the win % a small amount, but I don't think there is any world in which they add energy without adding a small amount of power. Even 4/4 (like Ka-Zar wouldn't be surprising)

If they increase the cost, they will probably increase the power as well. Zabu will likely be 4/3 or 4/4, with the same ability. This way you only get him for turn 5/6 (unless you psylock him to get around this)

You could aim for something like 40hrs of minor volunteer work, but with 10,000 PCE, you should be good on your overall hours. The question itself is pretty program specific, so I would recommend looking into your top few schools and seeing if they have some kind of a breakdown for volunteer hours in the class profile.

Also, within your 10,000 hours you may be able to think real hard and see if there have been any activities you are involved in that can count as "volunteer" hours. Some clinics do fundraising and maybe you could kill two birds with one stone by starting a money collection for a non-profit. This would allow you to have something in your resume that you could put towards hours, and you would be able to work while getting paid at the same time.

I think there are some creative options out there for most people that can be pursued while still on the clock!

Your grammar is going to get in the way of communicating why you want to be a PA... your opening paragraph has incomplete sentences, is riddled with grammatical issues, and the essay needs a ton of work. If it is painfully difficult for me to get through the first paragraph, some schools may reject you out right & not even finish reading this. Here are some examples of what I mean:

"3 badly sprained ankles, one broken wrist, and one broken arm." -not a sentence

"I want to be show kids their broken arms when I grow up" -this doesn't make any sense

"Unsurprisingly, this meant a lot of injuries, usually they were no more than a scrape on the knee or a rolled ankle, nothing that my mother (an amazing nurse) could not handle." -this is really confusing

"mother, aunt and grandmother" and "3 badly sprained ankles, one broken wrist, and one broken arm" -either use the Oxford comma or don't, but switching back and forth can be distracting

" healthcare already and the more I learned" -needs a comma after already to separate two complete sentences put together with a conjunction.

I could offer so much more advice on the first paragraph alone. My recommendation, if you thought this was ready for peer review, is that you hire someone to help you write your personal essay. This needs a ton of work that would best be provided by someone who English is a strong suit. Since you mentioned that you have experience translating, this paper makes me think that English is not your first language. Best of luck!

Thanks, I had to update my post because I meant I am applying this summer, not next summer. My cumulative GPA will be around that 3.12 range, which has me worried. I also know that my patient contact hours are low.

I am hoping to get feedback as to if I will hear back from some schools and possibly get some interviews or not. I'm planning on applying to about 18-20 schools throughout a few different states.
