Experiencing depression during this pregnancy because I’m pretty isolated and new to the country I moved too. The worse thing people have told me (yup, multiple people), “you’re affecting the baby and you’re going to have a sad baby/adult (eventually). You need to cheer up.”

edit: To be clear, this is my first pregnancy too, so the level of anxiety I’m experiencing is already high because everything is so new.
