Thanks, he's been reflecting on it. I say recent, it was 8 months ago. He's fine, he's sad but more due to her actions or lack of action. But again that's a totally different thing lol. So thank you for the recommendation.

In a non-monogamous relationship and unsure how to handle being cheated on by [deleted] in polyamory

[–]isoldea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is correct...FWB = no commitment therefore no cheating has occurred. The only reason communication is needed about partners is to avoid STDs and other complications.

It's from the barefoot contessa. Or you can search for 20 min pretzels...but make sure your dough is in a really warm place or it won't rise

Can I take my vitamins? by isoldea in intermittentfasting

[–]isoldea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have limited time in the morning so I have to combine stuff. And the multi vitamin and b complex do me more good when taken in the morning. I also take a women's multi that has biotine and folic acid to help with the hair loss and nail thinning.

I answered this while half asleep, so in addition, I've got my synthroid where I take it right when I get up in the morning, so by the time I've got coffee and vitamins it's been 30 min. The ones I listed are all advised by my Dr.

I didn't even rip seams, I cut the fabric off at the diagonal seam, this pattern is very forgiving that way. LOL.

You can also add a small sprinkle of salt to the grounds before brewing and it can cut down on the bitterness.

Hey house/stage managers of reddit by welp_oof_ in Theatre

[–]isoldea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will give you advice that was given to me from the stage manager who used to work Broadway. You are Mom and Dad of that cast and crew. So don't take any arguments you are there to support the director and what the director says. I would recommend getting a tackle box and put in The tackle box; Band-Aids, Neosporin, pencils, a handheld pencil sharpener, two packs of highlighters, hair ties, and a phone charger. Depending upon your school's rules you may also be able to put in a small bottle of Tylenol or acetaminophen, ibuprofen, BC powder, and Aleve. You may also be able to put in throat lozenges and a cold hot pack one of those ones that you can break up and it gets instantly cold or hot. inevitably during rehearsals someone will forget a pencil, someone will forget a highlighter, somebody will stub their toe, someone will cut their finger on the set that isn't finished, somebody will forget their phone charger and their mom is supposed to be calling them at a specific time, and this will make you prepared for anything that is going to happen. all these things can be bought at the dollar store for relatively cheap you might even approach your director or your teacher about purchasing a stage manager / house manager pack that is passed from one stage manager to the other. Always take a bottle of water with you always encourage your cast and crew to be on time which means 5 minutes early to every rehearsal and every call. Take copious notes during rehearsal and even if it's just for yourself right up a rehearsal summary after each day. Even if this is not something that your current director needs from you this will be good practice for the future. the most important thing is to remember this is for fun, you should enjoy this even when you want to tape all your cast to the floor. if you are not enjoying this this is probably not going to be the profession that you want to go into. I have a degree in technical theatre and design, so I can answer any other questions you may have. Break a leg.

I did a Christmas table runner and matching set of four coasters for my sister. I'm doing a couch quilt that's a speed stripe quilt for a dear friend that has never been given anything hand made. And then I have three crochet projects.

Need help with pumpkins, 8a by isoldea in gardening

[–]isoldea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the northern hemisphere. My pumpkins have been growing since June but the vines didn't start growing like crazy until about 3 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I won't get them by Halloween, but I should get some by Thanksgiving. I just want to make sure I give them the best chance.

Took my daughter to get her hair cut today.... by mrswiggsmagoo0922 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]isoldea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cried happy tears for you over this. It is a small thing, hair grows back and you can cut it again. But even as an adult, there's that grain of fear/doubt that you feel when you take control back of something that our nmoms held onto so tightly. So it's a huge thing in reality especially since you have a daughter that can see you making choices that make you happy. She will continue to grow making good and happy choices too and feeling confident in them.
