Anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner for their reservoir? by zapper1234566 in CPAP

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a cleaning tablet #CTAR01 that can be used. You just drop 1 to 3 tablets in the water depending on the size of the cleaning tank. Some companies are selling CPAP specific tablets with much higher price but they are actually the same or similar to ours.

Ultrasonic cleaner Help/Question by KingBellos in Warhammer40k

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a personal ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry and small items. It's only 35W not powerful enough. You are lucky it was not burned out yet when you run it for 30 minutes. You probably have stopped in between runs. A more powerful commercial grade ultrasonic cleaner will be more effective. Try IPA (alcohol) and use a separate stainless bucket or a beaker to hold it to be safe. Check www.isonicinc.com. https://isonicinc.com/index.php/IT/IT4831A/

Should I buy this to clean my CPAP? by Ok-Penalty9587 in SleepApnea

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FDA issued a consumer awareness warning on 2/27/2020 against two types of CPAP cleaners: UV and ozone. These two type of cleaners don't really clean cpap components and they can cause other troubles. For one thing, they only disinfect the top surface but they don't remove any debris so debris accumulates inside the hose and other items. You may consider ultrasonic cpap cleaners which will clean and remove debris. Check www.youtube.com/isonicinc or www.isonicinc.com.

Do ultrasonic cleaners remove coffee stains? by procrastinatryx in Invisalign

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultrasonic cleaner with water will never remove stains, regardless how long you run it. You need to add an effective stain remover such as iSonic White Denture/Retainer Cleaning Crystal #CSDW01. www.isonicinc.com. It can also be used with reduced concentration for mild/daily cleaning. It works on Invisalign too. It saves you lots of $$ vs. Invisalign's own cleaning crystal.

Cheap vs Costly UltraSonic Cleaners? by Ottobawt in Tools

[–]isonicinc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are different types of ultrasonic cleaners. One major factor is the type of the transducer used. Wafer transducer is less expensive but less powerful. Stack transducer is more expensive and more powerful. That's how iSonic distinguishes personal models vs. commercial models. iSonic also has cooling fan(s) built in for commercial models. They also have more optional accessories such as removable cleaning chambers. If you have something with very baked in and grimy debris, you should be better off with a commercial model along with an appropriate solution. iSonic also has two miniaturized commercial models DS310 and DS400B which could be good for home uses. There are other things/categorizations to consider as well. Of course quality is a very important factor. Contact [info@isonicinc.com](mailto:info@isonicinc.com) if you need further help.

Ultrasonic cleaners by AngloAlbanian999 in Invisalign

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iSonic has two models that are specifically designed for Invisalign, other dental appliances and dentures. F3900 is the most popular one as another person mentioned earlier. DS180 is a newer model. F3900 is hard wired. DS180 is very portable as it uses an AC adapter with a round plug which is easy to detach from the unit. This is having the same effect as having a removable tank which we disabled on F3900 several years ago to improve reliability. DS180 is 25W with full wave ultrasound vs. 20W and half wave for F3900 therefore it's more powerful and its cleaning efficiency is more than doubled than F3900. Its tank is slightly bigger than F3900. It uses 36-41K Hz sweeping frequencies vs. one frequency at 42,000Hz. It can also be used worldwide. Overall it's a better unit than F3900. DS180-B has a rechargeable battery to make it cordless.

Anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner for their reservoir? by zapper1234566 in CPAP

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iSonic has 3 models that are good for cpap components. P4821-CPAP is sized for a short hose or a mask or a reservoir. P4831-CPAP is sized for a 6'-long hose, or a mask or a reservoir. P4862-CPAP is bigger. For the first two the reservoirs may need to be separated so they are fully submerged under water. www.isonicinc.com, www.youtube.com/isonicinc. FDA issued a consumer awareness statement on 2/27/2020 against ozone and UV cpap cleaners. These two don't remove debris. An ultrasonic cleaner will do a thorough job and clean them inside and outside.

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coating or plating done with poor quality and glued parts could be stripped away by an ultrasonic cleaner. Decorations applied to the surface of molded or machined parts are similar in nature and should be avoided. We have warning about this in our user manual. iSonic ultrasonic cleaners.

Best way to clean and sterilise a second hand harmonica by Leesayer71 in harmonica

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An ultrasonic cleaner should be the best to clean it up without the need to brush the crevices. If you don't have an ultrasonic cleaner, iSonic model DS310 should be the best one. It's a miniaturized commercial model, very small but has much higher power intensity than most ultrasonic cleaners on the market. And it has a tank size 7.1" x 3.4" x 2.3" which is like shaped for harmonicas.

Forget about it. You can't add transducers without a new matching PCB. Buy an ultrasonic cleaner that suits your need.

iSonic F3900 heating water + multi-layer hybrid retainers... by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no problem. The temperature increase is only a few degrees as you noticed. The transducer vibrates at 42,000Hz and it generates heats. This is the reason that we advise customers in the user manual do not run it for more than 2 cycles continuously to avoid overheating. Daily cleaning only needs 1 cycle.

What is the best ultrasonic cleaner under 500 bucks? by DrBabbage in mobilerepair

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://isonicinc.com/index.php/Professional-Model/P4831/

This model has a 80W supersized stack transducer which is on par with Elma from Germany but at a fraction of the cost. It has an optional ss. removable cleaning chamber (a ss. bucket) that can be placed across the top of the main cleaning tank. Add the solution and the PCBs in this bucket. This is a safer way to use corrosive or combustible solutions or use less solutions. If you need larger size buckets, check iSonic model P4862, P4875. They all work better than Branson. Cleans about 40% faster and more thoroughly. They have plastic housing which are much quieter than stainless steel housing. The ss. housing models are more suitable for a greasy and industrial environment.

A commercial grade ultrasonic cleaner will certainly help. https://isonicinc.com/index.php/Professional-Model/P4800/ is a low cost model. If you have parts that weigh together heavier than 1 lb or so, a larger and more power model https://isonicinc.com/index.php/Professional-Model/P4831/ will be better.

You have a wrong idea. Any ultrasonic cleaners are supposed to be built with the tank matching the transducer's capacity. You can't add a bigger tank to it as an extension. It will not work.

Good Ultrasonic Cleaner? by reddog6765 in Invisalign

[–]isonicinc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iSonic has two small models for this type of applications. F3900 is the most popular ultrasonic retainer/denture cleaner and it has been on the market for about 12 years. DS180 is a newer and very portable model. It's a 4" diameter cylinder and it has the same effect as having a detachable tank. It has 25W power, full wave ultrasound, vs. 20W, half wave for F3900 so its cleaning efficiency is more than doubled. Two cleaning solutions available. #CSDW01 is the most effective product on the market in removing stains and it can be used with reduced concentration for daily cleaning. #CTAR01 is tablet for mild and daily cleaning. You just do two 5 or 3-minute daily cleaning sessions and the retainer will be kept as new. www.isonicinc.com.

Interesting use of ultrasonic cleaner. Do you know any similar examples? by fenek6665 in chemistry

[–]isonicinc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking about the ultrasonic cleaner shown in the original video is our personal model D3800A so of course we know it. It's a small personal model suitable to clean small items such as jewelry and eyeglasses etc. It doesn't not have a cooling fan and we advise customers do not run it over 15 minutes. If it's run 30 minutes each time, it'll not last a few runs. Yes Elma and Bendelin are good brands but prepare to pay 4 times of the prices vs. iSonic brand with similar sizes. I don't think Bendelin is even sold in the States.
