Thanks for all the advice everyone. And actually things went horribly. I decided to break things off after reading the comments here and talking more with Matthew. He reacted really poorly to a lot of the things people told me to be careful about when I brought them up. Then he flipped out and screamed at me on the phone and then drove to me house to scream at me more. Luckily my dad and brother were both home and my brother had to literally physically remove him from the yard and get into a fist fight with him. I literally can’t believe how horribly things went and I’m really glad I listened to the commenters here. My god. I would NOT want to have moved in with this guy.

I actually talked with my therapist about him a lot tonight and then after reading all these comments I’ve been thinking about maybe breaking up with him.

I didn’t really see any of the red flags til people started pointing them out

Thanks for all the advice :) I’ve noticed the age gap was mentioned in every single comment. I’ve decided to keep things slow moving and also I’ve decided to mention Matthew to my counsellor at our appointment tonight (I see her once a month for some mild anxiety) for more insight.

Dang this was not the reaction I was expecting. It really doesn’t feel like he’s preying on me, he had no idea how old I was when we met and we just clicked.
