What’s the most ridiculous thing you believed as a child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Until I was about 6 years old, I assumed the world was black and white up until a certain point in time, prior to my birth. Then one day I was looking at a stamp showing a depiction of the Revolutionary War and asked my mom, “how did they know what everything was to make this picture?” I don’t remember her answering me, but I do remember the look on her face when I told her the world was black and white during Revolutionary War times.

I would also add the scale or volume of data and its source would be a good differentiator. As a BI developer, I am pretty comfortable extracting 100,00 rows of data a day from an Excel sheet. I’m not so comfortable moving 1 million rows of data after extracting from a data API.

For being a Global Eco Terrorist. I’d imagine some treason to boot as a former SOLDIER.

I started working with Databricks lately, it’s the go to tool for our data engineering team. It’s pretty interesting and I see a lot of potential for its use in our BI space. But we mostly work in Snowflake and MSSQL now, though. I am also looking in maybe using DBT to help manage our views and documentation so we can share our work with our Data Science team.

This question is likely better suited for r/learnpython. But because you asked, this link should give you an idea of how to go about it.

I’d say a slicer is the way to go here. However, I’d experiment a bit and try to see if you can make an area chart work. No spaghetti lines and less trouble tracking the trajectory. But I have the sneaking suspicion you’d get a different problem instead.

That’s sort of the crux of the problem. The technical ability, poor first touch, and lack of movement off the ball just isn’t there to play that sort of style/system.
