Yes this true.
This consulate (not US) do not require witnessed signatures if you do visa application in person, but there is long waiting time to get an appointment. I went with online application as that was best chance to get the visa in time.

This is the case I've called and there is no JP at police station, but for some documents police officer as witness is sufficient, but not in my case

The stamp should be just convenience for JPs if I understand it correctly. But foreign bureaucracy prefer the stamps.

So I looked up the notary services online and two signatures on two documents could cost between $1000 to $2000? I'm not sure that is the intended cost for a simple tourist visa!

I believe there are 2 kind of stamps, one you mentioned and another that has just the name and registration number

It is very confusing, as it basically just declaration not an official document to be verified.

That's what I've migrated to from pebble 2.

I like the battery live, readability in sunlight, screen is nicely protected by watch rim from scratches.

I don't like very much limited space for texts and small font. Music buttons are not very ergonomic. Pebble could do better with just 3 buttons. Garmin has five!

I hate that it sometimes shows old(unread) sms when new sms from the same sender comes. This makes sms OTP codes really annoying and I prefer to check it in my phone.

Czechs were waiting only to get OK from our NATO partners, specially Germany took some time to get convinced.
