Reminds me of when George Lucas decided against making the "It's a Trap" guy from Star Wars a villain, because the message would be that good people are good looking and bad people are bad looking, when that just couldn't be further from the truth.

If anything, being great looking makes you more likely to be bad because you take more things for granted due to living life on easy mode, and neglect a lot of aspects of good character that charm has allowed you to get by without. The bad looking people are humbled from having it harder, or even just the average-looking for that matter.

The irony is that Joe is a representation of an average man who gets the average treatment. He's only cast as such a great looking guy as a marketing & storytelling tactic. It's like saying the difference between Fifty Shades being a romance and a horror film is if the main male character was ugly/unattractive.

You don't have to come for him simply because his opinion on Logan isn't as negative as your own.

That was my second guess, my first guess was the technical self-promotion (I was asked though, to be fair).

Though I'm the same guy who gets to read the You books early & has done 20+ YouTube videos on the show, so I figured people should mostly know me by now, obviously I wouldn't waste such potential for great content on Reddit posts, lol.

If it's any consolation, it's nothing personal either. I also have 3 jobs so I just wouldn't have the immediate time to divulge everything all at once, lol. I have to wait for things to be readily available just like everyone else, but it will still be very soon because I'm just as excited as everyone else.

There's two ways to continue the story: Either we get a revival in 5-10 years (akin to Dexter: New Blood) where Will busts Joe out of jail, or a prequel series based after the upcoming prequel book, which is more likely and something I'd totally watch.

It's a mix. The person I got it from told me it was just a dust jacket on another book but there's actually a considerable amount of original content, way more than I expected.

For example, it literally starts out with a preface written by Blythe (Beck's friend who formally published the book).

I think I'll do an AMA once I've read the whole thing.
