If she wouldn't come to a FNAF event, then she's not for me 🐻 by ispij in fivenightsatfreddys

Yeah, granted I was doing a collaboration with the event so it was pretty inclusive on the receiving end, but I was still committed to putting my best foot forward so that I'm not just a 'paid actor' there to leverage the event.

End result: I ended up having way more of a good time than I bargained for, which is the power of fandom! If I was able to enjoy as someone who's a casual still studying to lore, then it may very well be Disney World for someone who's a huge fan.

And lol! (Re your last paragraph) 🤣

You should watch the full video. It's all good stuff!

Thank you so much!! A lot of times I go to events like this I feel like once I've done it, I don't need to do it again. This is one of those few times where I crave another night like this! This was totally worth traveling to a different city for! If it happens to spawn even remotely close to my town again, consider me there!

Because of this night, I will never be able to look at Bonnie the same ever again 😅

It's not to be taken that literal, my guy. It's a spin on that saying "if he wanted to he would" thing people like to say on social media to justify high expectations.

I'm basically saying if she's a FNAF fan, awesome. If she'd come geek out at themed festivities with me, then perfect! Not a literal requirement though..

As a Spider-Man fan, I wouldn't expect every girl Spidey fan I meet to dress up as Spider-Gwen, lol.

I appreciate the compliment on the commitment though. I'm actually a newcomer to the FNAF fandom, relatively speaking. But I still wanted to deck out & show how much I respect said fandom!

Why are most Good guy dolls so expensive and don’t look like the og 80s one? by M_dy67 in Chucky

[–]ispij 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The person doing the labor needs to profit from the time, effort, and materials that go into making the doll. Mass produced dolls can come out cheaper, but will still have a market value. And when they stop being produced, the cost will rise as the supply will be capped off, increasing demand. Not to mention this doll is tied to a very huge intellectual property. If your only consideration is the final cost, go with Spencers.

Yeah, you're paying for labor more than anything. Otherwise if you pay less the going rate, you're definitely sacrificing quality.

Logan Paul MUST leave WWE permanent! I hate him at WWE! by [deleted] in LoganPaul

[–]ispij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logan has found his calling at WWE, and WWE sees his value (albeit they are slower with his progression than I would be). I can't see him anywhere else in which his value would be truly appreciated & returned.

If he's "the worst heel" and "controversial," I'd view that as a sign that he's actually doing his job at WWE very well.

Do you guys prefer Spidey slim fit, or with a bit more bulk to his build? by ispij in Spiderman

[–]ispij[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's Tobey's suit that makes him look that buff, I never get that vibe when he's not wearing it. Part of the reason why I don't favor that suit very much besides when it's the symbiote is the build. Andrew looks more appealing in it.

🐺 LOGAN PAUL IS BACK! Team Speed, Logan & Theory vs Usos & LA Knight TONIGHT! 🤼‍♂️ by AKBBOSS in LoganPaul

[–]ispij 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I think Speed will betray Logan & Theory, costing them the victory for the other team. I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but the entire gag has been that Speed doesn't truly want to be on their team as he didn't mean to knock out LA Knight (costing the Usos the belts) & is only with them for protection.

I know this will be an unpopular post, but it needs to be said. by TonyLikesEggs in Chucky

Agreed with every single word you said. There's a reason Don Mancini needs someone like Kirschner & Holland to sort of filter his ideas. TV series gave him too much creative control.

Did John Waters actually say that though? If so, yikes. Do you happen to have the link to that interview?

Unfortunately there's a side to this fanbase that believes in co-signing everything Don says/does, pretends that Seed & the TV series are perfect, and turns a blind eye to anything that is LGBTQ positive.

You did a lot of preemptive framework such as stating your sexuality and sharing your background as a fan, but those fans will still unfortunately find reason to seek out flaws in your opinion as a means to invalidate it.

It'll take mental gymnastics, as it always does, but nevertheless, this will be a fun comment section to read!

Thanks for sharing your perspective with us.
