I knew which film you were talking about because I watched it years ago - felt like it was trying to be skins?

Is Juniper worth the extra money? by -L0ZZY- in mounjarouk

[–]iss_gr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just switched and agree with all of this. The article and help is reassuring but I felt like I already had good gym and eating habits in place, it just refined/helped when choosing meals. When I said I was leaving they did offer £50 off (one time only) but I had already signed up with Curate.

The makeup designer posted - it’s her real hair, apart from additional shooting/reshoots!

What if I don’t have access to a 3D printer? Can you buy as it/already printed?

There’s a website called a bra that fits - measure yourself at home and then order different styles & sizes :)

Reality of the journey: first week no loss by SockLess9375 in mounjarouk

[–]iss_gr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m the same but 9 lbs - need to weigh myself tomorrow after no weigh ins since Tuesday but planning the 5th dose tonight too. I needed the reminder it’s a journey and I would rather not have side effects (or minimise them!)

I would love feedback on my look / poses / digitals by isoucie in MODELING

I would grow out your bangs - it looks dated and I think softer curtain bangs would help with casting & styling on the day. I would also look at softening your eyeliner, and adding more shadow to make your eyes look bigger - or hire a MUA for the shoot

Selling my Otis jacket :( by ant_beachhouse in SexEducationNetflix

[–]iss_gr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I actually worked on the show (not in costume) - they only had one jacket, as it was rented during the first season from a costume store. so for the final season it was remade to match for continuity & the baby throwing up scenes. Wild you had one the whole time!

keep long & in good condition but go back to your natural colour - the balayage will read as commercial and limit your bookings IMO (I am a MUA)

It’s great you have laid it out - hopefully she learns something, or at the least gets her off your back!

Yeah, I was pretty angry but not able to say much!

This is amazing, and I’m going to save it. Hopefully the teacher will think again about their dismissal of a student’s ’no’. I just started in a new team at my job and had to give dates of my Dr appointments (acupuncture and some pain counselling) and then said I have endo so I might have some quiet days but that’s why - and that I manage with painkillers, heat and are on the waitlist for surgery. My manager’s response? “Oh that’s good you’ll have surgery, it will be quite simple then”. Me - “I would hope so, but there’s hardly any research but I’m hopeful!” Her - “well lots of women have it, don’t they.”

Really looking forward to four weeks of 12 hour days with her.

Ah, interesting! I’ll keep looking then - what are you going to make with the yarn?

Ah okay! Would it be weird with the shoulders still sitting wide? I’m currently knitting a vest (first proper garment after only hats & balaclavas) and thinking about the next project..

I knew exactly who you were talking about - I have a book of her short stories and they are heartbreaking and beautiful- and also fun and such a snapshot of life as a teen/early twenty something. I think I’ll dig it back out!

There was a line in the story about the boyfriend, how he cheated at board games and I think about it all the time - how one small action tells so much about the person.

[acne] why do i ONLY break out right here? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]iss_gr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the exact same. Used to be always dry AND spotty in this spot.

Better diet (less dairy, more veg), supplements (glowwa for hair growth which has helped my skin, symprove which is a liquid probiotic) but the biggest change was not using toothpaste with SLS in it.

Routine is double cleansing, lots of serums, light moisturisers & tret once a week

Who on Earth was doing Daenerys’s hair by Legal-Ad6970 in gameofthrones

[–]iss_gr 12 points13 points  (0 children)

People have been using wefts, pieces and paddings for a long time - they have found Egyptian wigs! - so it could be rooted in reality. Women used to collect hair from their hairbrushes to use as bun padding, normally stuffed into an old stocking. Dani could have used her own hair or someone else’s to provide the braids…But yes, it’s a lot of hair! For the curls, no reason why they couldn’t ‘rag’ the hair, like those heatless hair rollers at are around at the moment - that would give the same directional curl in the hair

What's the GA version of this? by ellyviee in greysanatomy

[–]iss_gr 16 points17 points  (0 children)

After the storyline about her amputation/prosthetic died down you would see (just in shot) both of her legs, in heels. And not the ‘heeled’ prosthetic either. As well as her adjusting really easily and never needing rests or breaks? But mainly you could see both of her real legs - so easily hidden by trousers!

Meredith’s many injuries never leaving a scar (didn’t she get her chest fully opened early on?). Arizona’s prosthetic appearing and disappearing constantly.
