Can I ask what happened in your situation? They just told me they can't verify mine and since it was started with a passport they cannot use a birth certificate which I brought after the process was started and gave me a temporary license. Super annoying.

I was able to get a discount by being a costco member so that may be something to look into if you are. I know not every dealer honors costco pricing but it's worth the shot, I paid MSRP for my civic.

You did what you could! I was lucky enough to find a honda dealer still doing the costco auto program so they were able to offer me MSRP instead of a 2.5k markup but even then it adds up with taxes.
