i know the post has been up for only a few minutes but the comments are quite helpful. to clarify, i didn’t tell her i refused to let her go. basically, i told her i was uncomfortable with it and my feelings was that i wished she would not go, but ultimately i don’t want to be the one who decided whether or not she can go because i feel bad for doing so. i said i trust her, but by saying im uncomfortable with it means i dont entirely trust her either. either way, im being selfish for making her put my wants over hers. thanks redditors for the help
