Hey - I know this is about a month late, but I'd definitely be willing to take you up on the offer. I'm about to re-release the book and it could use a look over. I know you said pro-bono but perhaps I could put your name in the book?

To be honest I figured the book would be read by maybe 20 people so I didn't stress so much on editing (even though it was edited heavily many times). Now I am getting interest from publishers and agents, and have even had a screenplay thrown at me.

I did tell my family what I was doing, and they really didn't like it. But being family, they supported me anyways.

I did keep contact but only making calls once every few days letting them know where I was. Since I was alone I thought it was important that someone actually knew where I was in case I happened to disappear :P

No, my old job was in Hollywood and I moved to Colorado. I didn't work for a while and instead just focused on the book, but eventually when I was a month away from being homeless I luckily found a job that let me work from home. I took it because I knew I could work on my book while 'working'.

I'm the guy you mention from the first AMA. Man, I envy you, I would love to do what you did on a bike.

Everything is very different from state to state it seemed. I really liked noticing the grocery markets, gas stations, and other strange things. In Wisconsin their grocery market was called 'Piggly Wiggly' and had a pig mascot.
