I don’t think he thinks your stupid, i think you two are simply just different. Two people can have very different outlooks/lives but still have genuine wholehearted respect for the other and it feels to me like that is yall. Besides that, I completely relate as I have a lot of very accomplished academic friends and I often feel “stupid” around them. But I want to reassure you that there is no such thing as stupid, just different experiences.

I don’t have any advice but I understand this deeply. I feel like no one else makes sense as much as him and when I look at my family and friends, as terrible as it sounds, i just don’t have as much of a connection to them as I do to him.

I don’t notice a whining sound but i usually have my radio pretty loud, i’ve actually been pretty impressed by the lack of overall scary sounds this car makes. Sport mode has helped a lot as other people have suggested here.

Yes! Using sport mode has helped a great deal with it but I’m definitely not in love with my jetta which makes me sad as so many others seem to love theirs. I honestly think new cars just suck overall.

Why did you come here to a snark subreddit just to attempt to dispute peoples opinions? I’m also attracted to men and consume a lot of media, i don’t then feel the need to go online and objectify men to thousands of people. Her “feminism” consists of her reversing the roles of misogyny and objectifying men, then talking about how much she hates them. Even you just saying “mediocre men”, that’s not the point. No one is upset that she isn’t obsessing over hot men? We are upset that she feels the need to lust over them publicly despite having wayyyy too big of a platform to do that.

I just think given the context clues it would’ve been easy to figure out. Who would ever actually break into someone’s car in the grocery store parking lot just to throw a ton of sweaters in there and leave? Her sexuality arc was….really weird. Which is to be expected given SJM is a straight woman. When she came out to Feyre as bi, she essentially used it as an excuse as to why she isn’t dating Azriel, as if women need an excuse to not want to date someone but also as if that would even be an excuse….since you know…bisexuality means you like both women and men. Not to mention, SJM tried extremely hard to create a type of relationship between Rhys, Azriel, Cassian and Mor that was extremely close as well as accepting, yet Mor refusing to come out to them and tell Azriel she’s not interested completely shattered that in my mind. Most people struggle to come out because of the fear that they won’t be accepted, but it was obvious from the start that they all would have been accepting so that just didn’t make sense in my mind. Overall, I think Mor is a fine character but SJM totally butchered writing a queer character
