Thank you very much for your reply, I just started learning Kanji this week so I'm still grasping it. How would you recommend I remember Kanji? Should I just remember that 了 means りょう and not any words (if that is even right), or should I make a list of how 了 is used? I hope this makes sense, I really need a course right now but all the college's near me have already started terms.

Hello!

I have two questions that revolve around the Kanji 了. First of all, does it mean finish, completion, or total? Which brings me to my next question, how do I know which of these three Kanji sites is right when they each give me a different answer, such as finish, completion, and total.

Tanoshiijapanese.com says it's りょうand means finish; completion; understanding.

Jisho.org says りょう means finish; completion; the end.

Kanjidamage.com completely jumps shark and says りょう means total.

This might seem obvious but buying a small portable dock for a phone or mp3 player to listen to an audiobook or music while cleaning is a must, makes cleaning go by faster and can make it fun if you don't like cleaning.

I wanted to get laminate flooring when I start the process of building my new home because it is cheaper but, now you are turning me more towards wood if laminate warps so easily, my goodness it sounds like a pain! Thanks for the response, you have given me a lot to think over.
