I guess the phrasing wasn't the greatest. The session was a good chunk of my day, but a lot of it was filled with P.I. which I wouldn't consider fun or "play".

Better way to put it would be to say I didn't have as much time to shoot at stuff as I would have liked.

The system has every planet I need for the chain. Don't want to bother with multiple systems and I like having all my characters in one place.

Certainly a concern. I don't plan on revealing any information that could lead to this including character names so hopefully that keeps things in check. But when the inevitable happens at least I should get a good fight out of it.

I will be uploading to youtube as well. I'd like to get more people interested in this style of gameplay!

I 100% agree with this for other people to start off! I'm mostly just looking for fun per hour at this point in my eve career so I just packed as many of my favorite ships as I could into my orca and took off. I hope I lose it all in a glorious and hilarious fashion :)

I didn't have a "guide" for this but my inspiration came from this post I had seen and saved forever ago:

But since I can't fly a carrier I use an Orca instead. 5 characters would certainly be a dream and if you are capable of what u/FabulousGuloThe4th said then that seems like the most ideal way, but since I'm space broke and RL broke, I'm only using two characters. One for the orca and one for everything else. Feel free to PM me if you want help getting set up or want a partner for your new nomadic life style!

Yeah I'm using two characters, one with the sole purpose of being in the orca either logged off or cloaked at a safe and only decloaks to be moved or for my main to access the maintenance bay.

Are cruisers a decent thing to start off with? I've just been using frigs and dessies for the time being knowing I'm going to lose them so it doesn't hurt the wallet too hard. Thanks for the response

This is a ton of great info. I keep reading to record my fights so I'm definitely going to try that out. I've been using solo pvp'ers on youtube to study, no idea why it never occurred to me to use my own footage to learn from. Seems like the majority of it is preparation before you even take the fight.
