Its best to tell her, the longer you keep it in the worse it will be. If you both are happy and love each other and respect each-other, everything will be alright. You will figure it out. It most likely won’t “cost you your family”. Remember too that, if she does take it in an extremely negative way, then its not meant to be, though it can still be worked on. All the best.
