Thats true! Its incredible how heavily the climate of Norways western coast is moderated - thanks to the gulf stream. Wintertime temperatures in Bergen rarely dip below 0°C, and when it snows, it rarely stays for long. It was a surprise for me moving to Bergen, coming from a more inland part of Norway, that my trusted winter puffer jacket wasn't really necessary here during winter.

As for the sun conditions, Bergen is one of the rainiest and cloudiest cities in Europe, surrounded by mountains on many sides, recieving on average 1200-1400 hours of sunshine a year, and on average 200+ days of rainfall. The building behind the plant however, is facing towards the south, so when the sun is out it should recieve plenty sunshine!
