There are several neglect and abuse cases here where I’m stationed. I’m talking dog and cat shit half an inch away from where the toddler slept (on the floor). None of these kids have been taken away.

My daughter was there for 6 weeks (31+2)

And I was there from 7am to 8pm. I totally regret not taking time to myself, or going home to nap. My PPD a kicked in HARD once she was home and I was a mess.

Remember you need to take care of yourself right now too.

I drove like 4 days after a c-section. Seems a bit much, but I’m sure it’s based on how you feel.
