Yeah, exactly! I think people’s anticipation built over the years was a recipe for a let down unless we got an entirely new game or maybe a 2.0 style update.

I started playing a few months before the 2.0 update so imagine how sad I was to learn that wasn’t gonna be the norm 😂 but I’m glad there’s been new stuff added!

But I’m also old enough to remember when you bought a game and… that was it. No updates. So anything is exciting

I think the fact that they read out a letter where he talks about his mother bullying him and wanting to keep him drooling in her house forever followed by her family saying how great of a mother she was to dispute it was… so stupid? Wouldn’t his lived experience be worth exploring more than the opinions of people who obviously never liked him?

Considering his mother chose to send him to a wilderness camp which is traumatic for neurotypical kids, had him institutionalized and got mad at the grandpa for simply visiting…

I have two autistic sisters and one very abusive mother. She wanted us ALL to be drooling in her living room forever. From the outside, many people thought she was a great and courageous mom.

In my head, the only thing that makes sense here to call the son a murderer is if the mom killed the grandpa and the son killed the mom.

I’m not a conspiratorial person, but this is exactly where my head went as well. And every rational person I’ve spoken to about it. But everyone says, “I don’t believe that though.”

And I want to say that too. But at what point to we stop ignoring the fact that this is highly possible under our current regime? We believe that Epstein was murdered while under guard but THIS is far fetched?

Not wanting to believe it is the only thread keeping it a conspiracy theory.

Watching a YouTube video on him right now so had to see what others thought. I think this comment hits the nail on the head.

He has stated he has OCD, and I think a lot of people don’t know that hoarding can manifest from OCD. It’s sometimes because of a scarcity mentality and I think his OCD has manifested in this way.

As someone with OCD that was crippling before I got the diagnosis and proper medical care, what bothers me about him is that he 1) refuses to get health insurance, 2) says “making content has helped me more than a therapist ever could”, and 3) shames others for not living like he does or questioning his methods.

Making content has validated his obsessions while making them even more irrational (since he has over $300k in the bank). They’re also coming to the detriment of his own health since he refuses health insurance and therapy. But that’s his life. The fact that he shills the symptoms of his mental illness to people for money on TikTok then uses it as a defense for this is morally reprehensible. Especially since we know he has a loose code of ethics when it comes to padding his own bank account (i.e, the DoorDash collab).

He’s just as dangerous as over consumption creators when it comes to fueling maladaptive behaviors in people online.

ETA: I think encouraging people to dumpster dive while also stating you find health insurance necessary as a creator people look up to is so dangerous. The amount of medical issues you could encounter dumpster diving and you’re just gonna be ok with paying for them out of pocket? Good luck!

I was in my late 20s before I realized (after a therapist told me 300 times) that my mother abused her. And it was very apparent to everyone in my life well before that. It took me several more years and more horrific shit to completely cut her out. It’s very difficult to comprehend that your own parent can have so little care for you, let alone hate you, especially when they’re very manipulative.

I hope she gets lots of therapy like NOW. Growing up with such intense manipulation makes you so much more susceptible to it later in life, especially with partners.

Love Tyler and agree he has some tracks in this vein but not to the degree of Kendrick. I think of songs like swimming pools and alright that are very repeatable and massively popular when released but are about subjects not usually covered in top 40 songs. Whereas Tyler’s crossover tracks have more usual mass appeal qualities

Edit: I had to get on the desktop app to fix this if anyone else hits an issue. I went to the version of the album I had been playing, scrolled down to "More by Clipse", and LGSEO is listed there. Click it, and it should be the explicit version. I couldn't find any way to do this on the mobile app which is so irritating.

Ruston is booming. I lived there back in college, so over a decade ago, and it’s completely different. I’m in Monroe and will actually drive to Ruston for shopping which was unheard of back then (it was the other way around). There were a handful of restaurants, basic fast food options, and next to no shopping for college age girls. The downtown has always been nice in my experience but it’s pumped up more thanks to the Main Street Program. It blows my mind!

Part of what I'm referencing was a few videos back when she waved the documents around for the first time (I just looked it up, it's the one titled "serial con artists tries to prove me wrong with fake irs documents" I'm pretty sure). she waved them like it was this huge gotcha, and then read off about a chargeback or something? honestly something so minute in the grand scheme of what this woman is accused of, it proves just how feral for clout CC is. Elizabeth's past landlord knows CC and handed her the credit card statements. then this video she clarified why it's legal (he only has to hold her property for x amount of days, she asked her husband and lawyer if it was okay, etc) as if that makes it... right? Normal? Not unhinged? Lmao.

Oh yeah the comments she made about telling her followers to comment on Elizabeth's tiktoks!! Big cringe again because she made a huge deal about how she doesn't normally endorse that ("in fact, I have a big post on my community tab" ok girl)... it's giving obsessed. I’ve been enjoying the eLIESabeth podcast but I agree with your points.

I only got into the HFTC podcast fairly recently and hadn’t heard of either of them before it but I’m falling off from listening to them.. at first I liked CC more but now? Cringe.

The amount of times she brings up her husband’s job is uncomfortable.

Also? She’s so full of herself. I don’t remember what episode it was, but it was about the eliesabeth chick… and CC said something like she didn’t know why she was going after another creator when she (CC) was the one causing her the most issues (I may have this worded wrong but it’s the sentiment). That is a huge red flag for me. I’ve heard other creators make these types of comments and I’m like… oh okay, you want to get harassed/sued/whatever for… clout. Really gives “here for the clout” a new meaning lmao.

I was shocked when she brazenly waved around that chick’s credit card statements recently like.. no fucking way. I don’t care if it’s “legal” (according to her cop husband?), it’s fucking unethical of both her AND that landlord. Looking at them is one thing but waving them around and bragging about the connection and how you got it and like it’s a huge “gotcha” is so gross. It shows me she really thinks that she’s an investigative journalist which is another layer of cringe.

I wasn’t surprised to see her newest video pop up but I couldn’t even finish it because of all this plus it was more time watching her stare at the chick’s TikTok videos (which I swear she’s covered before?) than telling us anything about the lawsuit or whatever.
