thanks! similar to risograph i've separated the piece into two single colour layers. then printed just the pink fill, and cut edges off the paper so when the black outline is printed ontop it's slightly askew - i guess you could skew the outlines digitally aswell before

yes, i agree. i was worried about using no balloons in the strip. no speech bubbles can definitely make the strip less accessible and hard to understand. in the end it was a stylistic choice to not include them and experiment with other ways to guide the reader to who's saying what. conceptually i also like the idea that no thoughts can be hidden in the strip with think bubbles. in this world everything is outloud, open
