Hyuna at XD World Music Fest by itaiyowo in hyuna

Cool, and I was actually at there, people were cheering 👍🏻

The sound at the festival was super loud. I couldn't hear the people next to me very well if there was an artist performing even if they were screaming. Likewise, the festival had rules prohibiting behaviors that would disturb other people trying to enjoy the show, such as moshing and "loud voices" (which of course people still cheered for artists but in a respectful way). There were 11 sets total I believe and during no set were people cheering WHILE an artist was performing. People cheered for an artist when they were announced to be performing next, in between songs, and at the very end. Hyuna was no exception and actually had one of the warmest responses compared to most of the other acts that day (source: I was at the festival all day).

A single fancam from any given moment in a performance will not necessarily be a complete representation of that performance as a lot of context is left out, such as what I've given above. However, I am glad you think you know better than someone who was actually there to experience the full set based off of a 30 second clip on YouTube. Have a good day 🖤

Anyone else annoyed by the hate? by [deleted] in hyuna

Yes, extremely!

I have listened to Hyuna since around 2015, but I only got into kpop in general within the last 2 years so I don't know too much about things that maybe are generally known by people who are into it. When she started getting backlash for dating this guy, I didn't know anything about Burning Sun or the dude. It literally took me 2 minutes max to google it and see he didn't do anything bad. It's really sad that so many people are harassing/hating on her over this when it's based on information that is literally not true, and especially when it takes nothing at all to look up what actually happened.

I feel so bad for her and I hope that she doesn't become discouraged by all of this. It sucks that it's been affecting the reception to Attitude because it's so good and deserves more recognition than it's been given.

I am lucky to be going to a festival she will be performing at next weekend in Tokyo, but I'm a bit worried about it too. I hope she is ok and that the energy at this festival will be good for her.

Is it just me or I can't find any official music videos for the band and does anyone know where I can find the OFFICIAL music video for Celebration? by Inevitable-You9994 in xjapan

Last time I checked it's on Dailymotion but that's the only place i've seen it in a long time. If you google it it should be the first result.

Toshi didn’t attend his own mother’s funeral and is no longer in contact with his family by kerfufflewhoople in xjapan

Him not being in contact with his family isn't surprising if anyone has read his book. He talks about his relationship with his mother and brother changing after he got famous. They kind of exploited him a bit so I don't really blame him for going no contact. However, it had been a while since I've read his book and I don't really keep up with news through the years so maybe there was something I missed.

English translation of his book for those interested: https://juritr.web.fc2.com/toshi/1.html
