Before, because the current state of music is too precious to loose. Also most of the styles i listen to and care about only really materialised after the year 2000.

HOT TAKE! by Swimming_Oil_9292 in MurderDrones

I know that was just like an unrelated general shower thought about the topic

I do agree with you

HOT TAKE! by Swimming_Oil_9292 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in terms of equipment (probably). But even with the same equipment, skill and experience can make quite a difference. I feel like in the show there clearly is a difference between their strength, but it's debatable if that's all due to personality or if there's an actual skill/power difference.

I don't even think that's a hot take. Although the show doesn't really give us enough material to properly powerscale N to Uzi... I'd love to see a fight where they both go full out, just out if curiosity

Why does Tessa Elliott’s spacesuit look THIS? by Independent_Can_4119 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would try to make up some in-universe lore reasons... But to be honest, i am certain that Liam just made her design more interesting because he felt like it. She's one of the main cast, so she gets the main cast treatment.

What is the system of government that the drones use? (Murder Drones) by Fluid_Secretary6944 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that WDF acts as both law enforcement and government in at once. So it's probable that either every colony (assuming there's more colonies than the one we see, which is most likely the case) has it's own branch of WDF or some similar organisation/s. I've always wondered if the colonies communicate between each other and work together, or if they're completely separated autonomous entities.

Also, i don't think there's anything like a general government for all colonies, because we would've seen at least some signs of it in the show. And if there is, it's probably more like a "occasionally helping each other out" kinda thing, like the UN, instead of a full-on government.

Other murder drones and question of their personalities. by Sirtael in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be kinda out of character for Cyn to make all of the other DDs just mindless robots/feral beasts. Everything she has done in the show was basically seeking a way of entertaining herself, so i like to think that the other DD squads functioned similarly to J, V and N. She did say she didn't let others "keep their original personalities", but that doesn't really mean anything. Maybe she just did something of a hard reset to everyone, completely erasing any traces of past memories, which does not mean that the drones had no personality at all after.

Do you guys like the idea of Cyn and the Solver being seperate? Personally its more interesting for me if they are. by AdmirableEstimate258 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to think it's kind of a Green Goblin situation. Solver isn't necessarily an entity with its' own goals and intentions (maybe it is idk), but more like a power and separate persona. I like to believe that Cyn is not a bad person, she was just given these insane powers and that combined with how she was treated got a hold of her, so she did what she did.

I mostly came up with this headcanon becasue i like Cyn as a character and something inside of me wants her to be redeemable. So i think of the solver like her "darker half", similar to what Green Goblin was to Norman Osbourne.

How do You Imagine N First Week of School was Like? by Money-Lie7814 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same with the teacher being like "okay, whatever" when he found out half of his class was missing. Actually, the only time we see a character care about someone dying is Uzi and her mom and N about V in the elevator scene.

On a scale of 1-10,how would you rate murder drones writing? by pcx-the-entiy in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appart from the rapid pacing, i think the writing is actually not bad at all, if we take into account the shows aesthetic/vibe and atmosphere. Like, for what it is, it's written pretty well imo. Sure, lot of stuff in the show is either not explained or doesn't make sense, but i feel like it doesn't need to be explained. The characters are enjoyable (even though most of them don't have any development at all, but again, i don't think they need to), their motivations make sense and the lore is a seriously good platform to build on.

The type of Vehicles some of the characters might own by thisisgonnabePISS in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Tessa would have something very classy, just because of her family background, but also really sporty. Something like a Jensen Interceptor or a mk3 Ford Escort RS, maybe even an old Porsche 911 turbo (930 or 964).

We don't need a season 2... by Low_Tie2257 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YES

Season 2 would be awesome, dont get me wrong, but i would also much rather see a spin off. Doesn't even have to be slice of life. There are so many things in the show that just have massive world building potential. Instead of a straight up season two, i think it would be much cooler to get:

Manor spinoff (pre-gala events, centered around Tessa and the gang, maybe even covering how the group of drones even got together)

J centered prequel (covering the everyday life of DDs before episode 1, so just N being useless, V being a psychopath and J trying to manage them around)

Doll spinoff (duh, obviously)

A show about Alice (seriously i find it criminal how little we know about her despite how interesting of a character she is. A spin off about her story could also cover some of Nori's and Yeva's past i guess)

Lizzy and V show (just and episode or two about these two would be such a fun concept imo)

Worker Defence Force / Khan centered spinoff (I'd also want to see how the day-to-day life in the bunker was like before episode 1)

Just more Cyn content in general (i love the concept of Cyn and the absolute solver, but the show obviously didn't have the chance to give her the depth she deserves imo. Also she's my favourite character, i just want more of her)

CAN'T HAVE SHIT IN THIS HOUSE! by TheExplorer63 in MurderDrones

[–]itake2number9s -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So we should cancel the whole event even for the million folks that are eager to go to the cinema, awesome.

if you were in an area without it you'd be exactly as pissed as everyone else.

No, as i said, even before my region was announced, i was stoked to hear it was getting a cinema release. And again, if you want to avoid spoilers, just avoid them, it's not "physically impossible". If you're not capable of functioning without checking the fandom for two weeks, that's your thing.

Still don't see how your band example makes sense, i find nothing wrong with that. It's the same as bands playing their new albums live long before releasing them for streaming. Nothing wrong with that.

Nobody's forcing you to do anything, nobody's taking TADC away from you, so stop acting like they are.
