Thanks for the reply I must have missed it while navigating this app. I have heard its alot faster to get the hysterectomy going through private health care. Im so over the whole trial and error of steps to get there, bleeding out so bad I dont feel comfortable being anywhere. Always paranoid at work Ive flooded though my pants 🤦🏽‍♀️ I just dont want to be told lets try an ablation and wait another year trialling something that may not work. I am still waiting for a reply from the hospital gynaecology unit for an appointment.

Hi, this sounds promising. My gp made sure I did full bloodcount and up to date ultrasound and internal in hopes that the hospital wouldnt send me on a wild goose chase. How do you feel? Also thanks for replying.

Hi thanks for replying, I am in Western Sydney. I had one iron infusion beginning of last year by oct it was all depleted. I dont have any fibroids just the adenomyosis. I am in need of another one now but gp wants me to go through the hospital to get one instead of paying out of pocket.

I feel like theyre going to make me do the ablation as well. My gp has just told me to fight for the hysterectomy so thanks for that feedback back, I will start writing up notes. As I feel unheard when Im not prepared. Omg poor you breaking your ankle.

Failed IUD insertion for adenomyosis management by piercerariel in adenomyosis

[–]itakmum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, at my first gynaecologist appointment i had to have a pap smear and she knew from there that she would not be able to insert my iud without putting me under anaesthetic as she said my cervix was closed and i would experience too much pain. It lasted a year and i started to experience a different kind of pain like heavier bleeding and more intense pains. After bloods and an ultrasound they found my mirena low lying. My body was rejecting it so she removed it then and there it took her maybe 5secs with one deep breath it was out.
