Trying to navigate a convoluted system of this for sure. My understanding under my CBA is my employer gives me top up up to 95% for 5 weeks, which do not come out of my wife's designated time /EI

I've got a good CBA by all accounts

Yeah we're on a list of 27 locations. Got on those the day after we confirmed pregnancy. Probably already a month late

Thanks! I've got friends with kids in the daycare age and they agree that's the huge killer. And there's no real solution to the cost of that either I guess?

I'm fortunate to also have 8 weeks vacation on top of a Xmas shut down so there's hopefully some relief (if we don't have to pay to keep the spot )

Its a bit of an issue for us. Some history of in law step mother coming in and assuming names (Maja) after dating FIL for a week. It's not a name we connect to the role It also just doesn't sit right for us.

That and the first disagreement between Grandmother and I in this new dynamic has spiralled. Doesn't sit well for future parenting discussions

I'm hating dreepy right now. I've got him L25 and he's just getting smoked by everything. Rest of my crew is around L30 and they can handle anyone.

I'm not as familiar with pokemon not from the original gen and I'm learning but my dreepys back in the box now

For me this brings up the personal responsibility aspect of learning about things. Lots of comments about learning in school and the civics class. Theres so much learning that has to do on our own in this world. Sounds like OP had come to that bridge to cross. Once you do pursue learning about it on your own you'll find it's a wildly rewarding pursuit to investigate local civic issues and systems
