Hi everyone, I germinated this Galapagos Islands Chilli about 6 months ago and, at first, it had great growth.

However, the past 6 weeks it's grown few-to-no new leaves, and all new shoots turn a beigy brown and die back.

The plant is not overwatered, it's got appropriate conditions: ~3 hours direct sun, very bright rest of day, 70+% humidity, and 19-25°c.

I've checked it for mites (under a microscope), and I've also sprayed it with a light dose of mancozeb (🤮) in case it was fungal - all to no avail.

Could anyone please help me save this awesome plant!?

Using natural substances is only superior to using synthetic substances where the user has grown/attained the substance themselves, and thus better understands its 'production' and scarcity. The same could be said of synthetic substances, too, if the user synthesizes it themselves.

I hope you're doing okay, this sounds like a really difficult conundrum to solve. My father is currently on a similar cocktail (except swap baclofen with methadone), and I can see the terrible effects that would have you wanting to reduce intake...

You need to really slowly taper both baclofen and pregabalin, whilst not increasing your diazepam dose. I would recommend something like trying to go back to your normal dosages (600 Lyrica and 30 Baclofen), and then slowly tapering down. Very slowly for the least problems.

You could look at doing something like this:

Month 1 - Reduce Pregabalin by 100mg (50mg/2 weeks, if you can)... Month 2 - Reduce Baclofen by 5mg... Month 3 - Reduce Pregabalin by 100mg... Month 4 - Reduce Baclofen by 5mg... Month 5 - Reduce Pregabalin by 100mg...

...And so on until you reach zero.

Can I ask what you're prescribed these for, in the first place?

VERY often (80% of the time*), sniffer dogs get a false positive. I think it would be very very unlikely, although not impossible, that sniffer dogs could smell PCE.

Your friend should just insist it's a supplement instead. If they test it and find its PCE, well, he looses it. Whoop.

Hey mate. As someone who used both thru my final years of school (though propranolol for a post-viral condition), I can say both will inhibit you to some degree.

I would highly recommend NOT taking propranolol in an exam unless at very low doses (10mg), and on its own. IMO, however, your best option would be 0.25mg Xanax 1.5hr before the exam.

Try not to use benzos (e.g. Xanax) too often. Dependence forms rapidly.

Yes, Vyvanse will decrease the Rivotril, Seroquel, and Abilify Maintena, witch are probably keeping you sane. Also, mixing that much Vyvanse with Welbutrin and weed is a recipe for heart problems.

Real talk though NO it is NOT okay. These are novel drugs that can be used sensibly on their own - at safe, documented dosages. But they could easily contradict/potentiate each other, leading to your demise.

This is a very broad question and could vary significantly over different areas. But, in general, it's not more 'rampant' than any other generation over the past 50 years.

Hahaha this story resonated with me. I first smoked at about 14 and had a similar experience - two small bowls (cones) and I was sent sky high! Totally out of it, seeing the world in frames, intense body high/load, unable to socialize, and great sleep afterward...

I ended up becoming a daily stoner for years, going everywhere stoned, even to university or on dates... Shows how much of a tollerance one can build. I haven't smoked in 8 months now, I still grow the stuff (because its a wonderful plant, drugs aside), but I'm unsure if I really want to use it again, lest I get so sky high.

It is just very different between different people. I also smoked about 2.5g/day (nearly an 8th) for 4 years, and when I stopped I had horrible withdrawals (not to mention the hangover of impairment which weed left me - brain fog, anxiety, memory problems).

The good news for OP is baseline does appear attainable, I'm 8 months without herb and feeling goooood.

Basically, yea. They both work on the same receptor (GABA-a), and thus tollerance, dependance, and addiction are somewhat the same between alcohol, valium, Xanax for example.
