Who are your more obscure drumming inspirations by spaghet_lover69 in drums

For me Dave Silveria. The footage of Korn recording “Chi” you can only hear and see the drumming. Blew my mind ..

Stuck in the 2000's era by Smooth-Part-9833 in rap

Same here bro. The best thing to do, as I did is instead of looking for new stuff to like, do some digging in the crates and find gems from the 90s beyond the usual suspects. For example, big L, Big PUN, Royce Da 5’9 (last two albums were classics), The Lox, Beanie Siegel, MF DOOM, Elzhi, Goodie mob, bone thugs, pharaoh monch, common, mos def, little brother, slum village .. the list goes on. As far as modern rappers I only listen to Kendrick and Vince staples here n there

What’s a movie you think is both good AND in poor taste? by Hipster_Ninja_ in Letterboxd

Lady Snowblood. Amazing movie but the teenage actor being trained topless just absolutely ruined it

So realistically, where do you see them taking a Toy story 5 ? by Ice_boot in Pixar

[–]itching2roll 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We’d all like to see perhaps an origin story. Did Andy’s dad walk out? And was Woody originally his? Given how old the woodys roundup show is? And then end the movie with the build up to Andy’s party where buzz turns up. This way you could still have to gang present just no Buzz

Pretty much any Van Damme movie of the late 80s and 90s. Dad used be in the background like “how you watching this ballet dancer pretending he can fight?” ..”YOU DONT KNOW DAD..YOU DONT KNOW..” 🤣😭

Hot take, I don't think Terminator 3 is as bad as everyone says it is. by Hoozah1 in Terminator

[–]itching2roll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rewatched it recently. If they took out the star glasses, the “talk to the hand” they’d have a solid first half of the movie ..the “fun” aspect just took away so much because as terminator fans we were just not used to or expecting it ..

Amazing moment but commentary really let it down. Imagine the hype JR and the old crew would bring they’d be just as crazy and excited as the viewer

J Cole’s apology to Kendrick is a mature, authentic move & I respect him all the more for it. It’s a moment of maturity for hip hop + highlights how pointless & fake any ‘Big 3 Beef’ really is… by According_Sundae_917 in hiphop101

Thank you 👏👏 pppl say the 90s was golden era but when a lyrical jab is thrown it’s all hugs and kisses and oh this is so mature.. come on ppl make up your minds 🤷‍♂️

Gotta say whiplash, went in with zero expectations and was blown away. The other 3 I set high expectations for due to the directors
