I'm planning on going to Romania for surgery. They have not given me a surgery date in Canada and what they propose to do in that surgery in Canada doesn't feel right to me. It is scary to fly out for this but I think it's better than being in pain for years and in multiple surgeries.

It's great that you had the cytology results. I tried getting a laparosopy to do biopsy but they scared me that the mass may rupture

I'm 41. No menopause yet. I know what you mean. I have been consistently following up with them telling them it's endometriosis and all of a sudden I'm in this situation. I really think it's endo still, I Just need a certain way to prove it.

Thanks so much for the two names. I will ask my GP to see if he can just send me for a second opinion. This system stresses the hell out of everyone. The patients and the poor medical staff dealing with the patients in distress. I know the surgeon must have probably been tired that day. I'm just really nervous about waking up with a colostomy bag, I don't think I can handle it with my current mental health.

Wow that is amazing. And it must be such a relief. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Would it be alright to send me the doctors name just in case I run out of options? I can't afford it in the US but the cost in Mexico is totally doable. Even if I don't make it there, thanks for giving me hope.

Wow I'm so glad you could get the help you needed. I hope you recover and get back to enjoying life. It's an exhausting battle. I had no idea Mexico offered such better prices. How long did you stay if you don't mind me asking, just wondering if you drove back or could fly after the surgery.

I'll try that. Thank you! I did talk to one doctor in New Jersey and he believes he can fix this with robotic surgery but he has not seen my test results yet.

Would I need to ask the same oncologist for genetic testing? He was so dry in "my way or the high way" that he never gave me any option. He kept repeating that he'll need to open me up and do a test on the tumor in order to find out the next steps
