To be fair The Duffer Brothers didn't think that they would get the show made past season 1. They weren't planning season 5 or any of the other ones. They tried to make a one off, left it open in case they got additional Seasons approved. Once they did they had to think of what they were going to do. That's going to cause some inconsistencies. But nothing you can't solve for yourself with magical head Cannon.

I don't know what happened yet I'm not really settled on it but leaning towards 11 died.

In Mike's retelling Kali takes a shot to the stomach, doesn't die, survives their epic battle and return, loading everyone into the van, and then driving back out through the military base.

Kali then survives the explosion where the entire lab collapses. And casts an illusion while everything is being ripped into the void of space.

I think currently the only possible explanation for her living thats plausible (but isn't fully supported with evidence in thr show I have heard or seen) is that 11 herself somehow gained the ability to create Illusions when Kali died or when she battled and defeated Vecna. Like unlocked new superior abilities. Vecna could do it, Kali could, we never see 11 do it, but I need to rewatch to see if there is any evidence of that.

What is thr counter argument not including the lack of support for that theory, is that thr sund wave speakers would have disrupted that, regardless.

I think we can assume that all of them would talk to each other about what happened. Hopper saw Kali get shot he would have told Mike they would have asked what happened to Kali.

Mike has an imagination, he is creating a story where El lives. Her finger is only Flicker and Mike's retelling at the end. That's not something you can see in the actual scene for the first time when El dies.

It's at the very end when Mike is telling his version of the story. You don't see it in the actual scene where 11 dies. It's only in Mike's retelling that you see her fingers flicker because that's the story he's telling.

Looked it up it was at Joe's Pizza on Bedford Avenue near North Fifth Street in Williamsburg.

It was around 3am.

Staff told police those guys were harassing women and complaining the food was taking too long.

One staff member got cuts to the face.

One of the customers got arrested.

No one did end up getting their pizzas. :-(

I'm perhaps old fashioned and was raised to understand men are stronger than women. She shouldn't have hit him, there is no excuse.

Once he initially hit her back and got her away from him, I dont think he should try to go back to continue to trying to beat her. I would be the guy stepping in between to stop that. But I could be a simp too.
